Looks great too, if you're into that sort of thing. Also has the capacity for a 2nd fan to be added.

Voted hot as good price for a good product. I can't help thinking though, once you're getting up to this sort of money, an AIO cooling solution would be better? Certainly aesthestically

aio is noisy so it's not viable in some cases

I thought that standard coolers have already caught up in terms of performance?
The only difference right now is preferences like spacing issues, my Coolermaster 612S blocks one side fan slot off

Great cooler and a good deal. Be warned it is slightly difficult to fit on your own.

A good product but in my opinion you may as well get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo for £25

I have a 212 Evo, using one right now, it's a great cooler, especially at the price point. If you're going for a higher OC though, the Dark Rock is a better performing cooler.

212 Evo are good but this will run cool and damn near silent under an overclocked full load. If you are looking for something quiet this Dark Rock, the Noctua D14 and D15, and the Scythe Mugen 4/Max outperform pretty much everything else and, although they run slightly hotter, are quieter than AIO coolers at idle and under load.

Be wary of the clearance on your RAM with this, the Pro version has more space. I was looking into a Maximus Hero 8 board with Corsair Vengeance RAM and this cooler and it looked like it wouldn't have cleared the top of the RAM sticks. The Pro seemed to have more clearance. I didn't buy the kit in the end because I couldn't get a definitive answer.

With mine, I've moved the fan up about 10mm to give me clearance on my last RAM stick. If I was using 2 sticks instead of 4, I wouldn't have a problem with the clearance.

It would be much less noisy with very similar performance
