great, a bag for £160, NEVER £300 to start, cold
#2
its £300 and its reduced to £160

i struggled to find it for much cheaper than £300

if you were after this bag then its a good price.

i thought the idea was to sourec good deals on the retail price - the starting price is surely subjective to the buyer.

I would not spend £160 on this let alone £300 but others will

Nor would I, thats why I voted cold in my opinion-looks like most people agree with me, looking at the temp....

fair point but if the site operated like that then I would have to vote cold everything that I would not buy - which to me is rather stupid.

i vote based on the savings that are highlighted by users regardless if I have an interest in the product or not!

but everyone is entitled to their own opinion :)

I agree but the RRP isn't always 100% accurate, Most traders are renown for bullsh*****g their RRP, ie Woolies, Amazon,
Can you give me the serial number for this as I am sure it can be found cheaper.

I'd pay £160 for this if there was £140 in used notes inside it! Thanks for taking the time to post though OP.

Bear in mind that specialist equipment is never going to be too popular with people looking for a bargain here though, I think most people that check HUKD arent looking for specific deals, rather just looking to see what might appeal as a cheap punt (thats me anyway, this site costs me more than it saves!!!). :)

lol but what about the "soft touch 'made for IPOD' audio control":whistling:

Also didn’t the gadget show test something like this awhile back, If memory serves it had Solar panels for charging ipods & mobiles, built in Bluetooth ipod and phone controls on the straps:roll:

No need to give up, just remember that most people on here will vote hot or cold depending on whether or not something appears to be value for money.
You can't go by rrp which is usually overinflated nonsence anyway. The fact of the matter is that this bag was never 'worth' £300 and I'm struggling to see how it's worth anywhere near £160.

Still, rep for taking the time to post. -47 degrees - your next posts can only get better

thanks chaps wont give

I was being a little sarcastic :whistling:

thanks for the posters who have pointed out the extra merits of this product - £160 is still below the rrp for this bag - I think some people need to have a look at the tech involved and see that it is in fact priced well within the gadget market at £160 - perhaps a little to specialised for this site.

thanks for all the comments and I will of course continue to post deals that I feel are worth mentioning.

£160? This is a joke, right?

A fool and his / her money..........

Hmm

Looks a good technologically advanced bag to me;

Quiksilver
Premium - Backpack - Black

Super functional and multi purpose, the day pack houses an external lighting system that allows you to find your way in the dark or to see into the deepest realms of your packA high performance speaker located in the pack's rear panel. Quiksilver's groundbreaking backpack strap suspension system

840D Teflon coated cordura and 40d ultra lightweight nylon lining
Deployable water bottle pocket
Back panel security compartment
Unique shape & construction
Internal & external LED lighting system and a soft touch 'made for IPOD' audio control
Shoulder strap suspensions system and Advanced internal organisation
Temperature regulating back panel

Unfortunately many of the readers attracted to this site know the cost of everything & not the value of anything.....:whistling:

If you could afford & are looking for a bag like this it is a good find although a quick google search did reveal similar prices everywhere else.

Good luck with future posts

I would save £148 for better use ... eg going to a pub and spend the rest.

This will do the trick for most people anyday!
Cold, super cold, minus 7 C from me!

I picked up two of these state-of-the-art bags up at TK Maxx, £24.99 for the backpack and £29.99 for the surf pack. Built in speaker in the backpack allows you to listen to your Ipod with noiheadphones. Heavily padded and semi rigid design means it offers great protection for electronic items, sunglasses etc.

£24.99 beat 160 quid and the $500+ tag this thing flys in the US for: looking like the steal of the century!!!

Here are the links and cost for the different models:
Day Pack for $ 503.95 available by Rideshop-zappos, Surf Pack for $ 583.95 also by Rideshop-zappos and the Snow Pack for $ 500.- avaiblable online by Islandsurf.
