The real deal on toilet rolls is Costco’s own Kirkland branded “Triple-Satin”. This Mutter of Wipes boasts 260 sheets per roll, the sheets being tough enuff for all but the sharpest of digs and soft enuff for those dainty little fairy patches. For those freed of their dependency on “Velvets” and similar high notes in addition to being Costco members, this works out at 20.51p per roll [which used to be 17.x before the effects of “Quantative Easing”, the same as a “benchmarked” 330ml can of corrosive Yankee beverage] and beats any other super-duper offer any day. The downside, of course, is that Costco is another Loss-Leading piped-piper, par excellence. Another important aside is that the useage of toilet paper without water/liquid or the “proper” hand, is a “No, no”. Regardless of belief or justification/rationality, this reality will be revealed, sooner if not later, much like eating off a plate that is known to have, say, fecal matter placed upon it once upon a time.

Went in to the Tooting Co-Op and noticed a huge pile of velvet tissues 9 pack at £2.55 only.

50p off voucher from http://www.velvettissue.com takes it down to £2.05 per pack making 22.7p per roll ....

Better than the previous deal of £2.80. Effective roll costs 22.7p .... Best price for quality tissues!!!

I thought it is a bargain ....
