I've never cooked it in the microwave (I usually cook it in a curry as you would normal chicken) but it tastes virtually identical to me and my family.

I just bought some quorn from Tesco's about an hour ago and I didn't see it on offer! Maybe they just didn't put a yellow sticker on it. The vegetarian section is pretty poor at my local though - its in a freezer half way up an isle and for some reason, the door is always frosted so you can't see in, but the freezers on either side are fine...

Lol ..... would anyone eat Quorn if they knew what was in it?* Google is your friend. Well known for causing stomach gripes, the penny only dropped after my daughter kept complaining of stomach pains after eating "Quorn Deli Ham" and I did some research. Nasty highly processed pseudo-food developed by ICI.

*ps - it ain't "mushrooms"!

No, its mycoprotein from a fungi - with mushrooms being a type of fungus so I don't see why anyone who happily eats mushrooms would be put off.

I'd never heard of anyone getting stomach pains before and I looked it up - 1 in 147,000 people have an adverse reaction to it. Just like some people have reactions to nuts, milk etc.

A great offer, already been and stocked up on it! They had the dippers on for £1 previously so it seems like they are going through all the quorn stuff putting it on offer! Heat added.
