All I can say is unless you like your house smelling of sh . . - I would avoid cooking this in the microwave like it says!

And it tastes like sh . .

SHOES!

Chuck it in a bowl of boiling water to defrost then fry lightly and chuck in whatever you're having perfect for chicken replacement and tasty if you don't screw it up and at that price a bargain too

Not to my taste either!!! Voted hot though as its a good price - if you like it.

Thought the same till I try tried it. :whistling:Actually very nice in a sweet 'n sour, chow mein etc. Spag bol ok but not great, and chilli's pretty good too. Im far from a veggie (love my sirlon and bacon buttys too much) but since trying it for 89p in Tesco a while back, come to like it.

RRP is like £1.80 so hot from me! Shame I bought 4 packs today in Tesco for £1 each... hey ho, can't win them all!

The small chicken pieces you can cook from frozen so you can make a good meal in 7 mins flat! The sausages are the same; just the fillet and big pieces which need defrosting.

why are all meat eaters so interested in vegetarians eating habits :whistling:

not the best tasting thing in the world unless the taste is disguised by copious amounts of sauce, good price though - i'm sure the gf will be collecting some later!

Everyones entitled to their own opinions of taste! However if cooked well with something decent it always tastes gorgeous! You obviously don't want it on its own, and I can say I've never had the house smelling, but then again I've not cooked it in a microwave lol. Never had any complaints of taste either, in fact my mum uses it instead of chicken now and she's not even vegetarian =]

Also, why is there variation on different meat, full chicken, breast, goujons etc? Because it's ideal for cooking with! What else do you want it to look like? Also much easier to follow recipes and substitute for vegetarian friendly food seeing as most vegetarians arn't born veggie!

Great price op have some H&R

That is a nonsense statement.

Tempeh doesn't look like meat.
Rice doesn't look like meat.
Tomatoes don't look like meat.
Walnuts definitely don't look ..... etc etc

I'm vegetarian, and virtually nothing I eat looks like meat. Quorn wasn't designed FOR the vegetarian anyway.
