Quorn is evil :-)
#2
Chemicals in breadcrumbs !!!!
#3
Why so bad??
#4
It causes me severe stomach ache and vomiting. I thought I'd give it another go recently, after several years, but same effect.

Funny, as I'm not allergic to anything else that I know of.

actually its mycoprotein in breadcrumbs ;-)

I'm going to hazard a guess that intensively-reared chicken in breadcrumbs is unlikely to be chemical-free. I'd rather take my chances with fungus than antibiotics and whatever **** they feed the poor ******s to make them grow quickly, even without the ethical arguments.

Excellent find, thanks.

invented by ICI and Rank Hovis McDougal

4.5% of britons are allergic

i think it's processed muck

Totally agree, the "chicken" in chicken nuggets is usually packed full of water, and really could be anything. There was a really good programme on BBC3 a while ago, it's well worth a watch (all of the Mischief programmes are really good)

Quorn seem to do these sort of deals on their products quite often and rotate around the range.
I think Iceland currently have 50% extra free on a bag of quorn frozen mince for £2ish.

Quorn is made of fungus! No chicken in sight. All Quorn products are meat free!

He was talking about real chicken, not Quorn products.

So that should surely say something to you about what's wrong with the meat? To make and get it out there that cheaply there's something going awry.

Honestly had no idea these things were made from fungus and breadcrumbs...I thought Quorn was just a brand....love the mini scotch eggs....so might as well give these a go. Do these count as part of your 5 a day? :-)

IMO tastes like cardboard, but great price for quorn lovers. Voted hot:thumbsup:
