We're all too busy being cruel to animals.

What do you want to do about it? eat it? you probably had some without knowing :p

Eurghh...can you think of anything more vile to eat? Dreadful!

I remember once I unknowingly picked up some quorn chicken fillets and cooked them thinking they were chicken...ill never forget it, I took my first bite and literally threw up on my plate, it was hideous!, had to eat out and bin the so called 'meal'.
#15
I'd virtually eat road-kill I'm so far away from being a veggie - but I got into quorn mince about 2 months ago in chili con carne and spag bol and it's loads nicer, seems to absorb the taste from the sauce better. The frozen stuff is minging mind...tastes totally different...and I don't mean when it's frozen, before any of you say it....
#16
I'm not a veggie but don't mind the veggie alternatives sometimes. Good find OP.
#17
Not seen any of the vouchers myself, maybe just in that store.

Top deal in any case.

If your grit bin is empty and the shops are out of cat litter, this is the next best stuff for putting on the roads and pavements
#19
hot from me, quorn is great :)
#20
I eat Quorn all the time but I'm not a veggie. I will advise to avoid the mince though. Stick to the cubed stuff or fillets....

The mince ends up like cheap value mince without the grizzle

Nah. The very best thing is meat mince. 1. With all the chemicals in it, it melts the coldest snow & ice. 2. By using it this way, it saves you the bother of eating it & all the illnesses accociated with meat.
#22
Are you sure that you understand "literally" I have my doubts. I won't labour the point as I have compassion for dumb animals.
#23
Cold the lack of cruelty sickens me.

Yes, meat. I won't go into what goes into sausages, meat pies and burgers as it has been covered many times before, but let's just say it can be pretty stomach churning even for committed carnivores. Did you know that what seems like a fresh, plump chicken breast may be only 51 per cent meat? What the hell is the rest?
#26
love how a veggie vs meat eater fight broke out over a quorn offer lol!

Have you ever tried it? My meat eater parents use it all the time instead of real mince and they say they can't tell the difference in a chilli or in a spag bol, they prefer it as it takes on the flavour well and is low in fat.

Oh for gods sake! I spent £1.77 on this yesterday in Tesco! :( never mind! I suppose you live and learn.

This isn't a veggie vs meat eater fight it is a veggie vs trolls fight! People who make such unwitty, tedious and boorish comments need to get a life and get out of their parent's basements!

none in sunderland, and its all normal price too, cold from me
#31
Good price for good food... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)
#32
Thanks Good One.

Quorn is a brilliant HEALTHY and LOW FAT alternative for both Veggies and Carnivors alike.

Spagg Bogg, Here I come.; -)
