which also comes with a microSD card reader.
Yes - these are fakes in that they are not from the original R4 team but it doesn't mean they don't work. The issue with R4 cards is that there are now so many flavours of them that it can be a pain finding the right firmware to go on them. It's for that reason (amongst others) that I used to stick to Edge cards but they don't do them any more. At least not until the iEdge comes out. An Acekard is a good one to go for if you want an easy to use card with no ambiguity over which firmware to use.

It wont do any damage. However, it will be a clone of the true R4 card, so you may get problems. No idea how reliable these clones are though.

Actually its reported that clones of R4s that accept SDHC cards can cause damage, there have been a number of fuses blown in DS's because of this. Real R4s are getting old hat these days, not worth risking getting a clone R4 because of bad build and voltage issues. Basically steer clear of R4s full stop...real are dated, clone are risky.
Much safer buying a legit Edge Card these days, they are very good cards, great value...this is false economy, and DealExtreme are notorious for their fake cack.
