If you bought these last time they were on here, (at £40)
I would like to know how they perform as I havn't used mine yet!!:{

I bought this model some time ago when it was on offer in woolworths. It didn't last more than about 10 uses before failing.

What i want to know is how this got hot because one person bought a jet wash from a local store, no one else has bought one and there's no proof that this is anything more than a clearance of stock for that specific store. Which is what i bet it is, if im wrong i will happly change my comment but i doubt i am.

Deals like this shouldn't get hot until there's proof that its a least not a one off, i could create my own thread and say that i had bought something from my local store (corner store) so theres probably me and one other person on the entire forum who live any where near to be able to get one and the people on here would vote it red hot because they dont read the post, They just see jet wash £20.

It turns out my mates just been to our local store and they are not £20 and he checked so cold from me as its a one off and may aswell be expired.

Maybe the next time i pick up an brand new RAC 1300w for 20 quid at my local store i shouldn't tell anyone on here and just buy 'em all myself..

It does'nt bother me how 'hot' it gets. I don't get brownie points do I?

I will edit my post because Polly69 has just started her own thread with a heated debate.

Now offline only.

Not a dig at your post its a dig at the people heating up something that isn't nationwide its a local store deal and people just seeing £20 pees me off, the price is great there's no question of that and if someone other than the OP in another area of the country has found them then there's a chance that there maybe more than one store clearing some old stock but no one has said they have been and got one and i know for a fact that by me this doesn't exist and if everyone put local deals on here and people voted them redhot the site would be useless or called hot local store deals.

As ive said its a cracking buy for the fortunate few that live local to the store but until someone else comes and say there local Asda has them and they have got one then it doesn't deserve to be 100+ but that's not your fault its happy fingers members who add heat or cold to every post and don't read the thread and there was no need to edit the post as it was one of the better ones at least you stated that it was a shop by you and which one it was.

It's abit early yet, let's wait until.. let's say.. daybreak and then maybe your point could be a valid one.

Polly 69 - the man was only trying to show a good deal. I've never seen anything like you're comment on here - no need for that - and if you live in Pudsey good luck to you cos you may get a bargain!! Do you need a jetwash anyway?? Prob not but then again some people just like moaning! Anger management you need I think or maybe a job!!!! Dear me!!

it really pees me off when people use threads (and waste a lot of space and time with irrelevant off thread griping) for personal rants......

thx op. at the very least, you've made people aware that there is the possibility of a good deal.

I'm sure there are a lot of these around but branded differently. I bought one from Halfords which looks the same. The hose split the first time I used it. the second time I used it it smoked. I took it back and got a refund.

RAC branded stuff is sadly rather poor in my experience. If you really need one, buy a Nilfisk for 50 quid. Money far better spent.

I got one when it was £40 it was great and on day one it worked fine, on day two however it started smoking and stopped working. :(

Thanks for all your feedback guys hope you find one..
If it does break down the first few times you use it keep your reciept as ASDA give a 1 year gaurantee. Just drop it off to them the next time your shopping.. **simples*!

I personally think this is a smoking deal just for this reason alone.
I'm sure this deal hasn't expired because there is still some of these up for grabs

My brother in law REALLY needed one for his new patio so I got one for him.... which tempted me coz I'm a cab driver and wanted to try and save a few bob. Like i said I should hold on to the receipt.

This is a reasonable deal, though there are other cheap powerwashers at similar prices, so its not unique.

I would not take the RAC branding as anything more than an advertising label, as these units, like most budget powerwashers - mass produced cheap imports with a different logos slapped on the side etc, depending on who's box its going to be packed in.

I bought another model of RAC branded pressure washer (2000W, £79.99 at Argos) and it lasted less than 6 months; used maybe half a dozen times before it started leaking from the pump. It was good while it lasted though and I now have another supplied under warranty without any quibble.

However, though I am pretty easy on tools and rarely have any problems I have had a series of pressure washers, including Karcher, and none of them has lasted very long. It's the only item I now pay for the extended warranty on (under £20 at Argos) as I've actually used the warranty.

I don't think it's worth bothering with these low power ones - it seems very cheap but it won't do much for you even when it's working.

Make sure you store any pressure washer where it won't freeze in winter; some water is always left inside and freezing will destroy it.

I bought one of these when they were £40 too. Did my driveway, and also my patio and paths on seperate days.. worked fine for me. Have also used it a few times on the car - again no problems. It's not the most powerfull i've used but it's adequate, and touch wood still working. Only thing I would have liked is an inline detergent bottle like you get with most other brands... I can't even find one to purchase as an extra.
