Jump to unread Post a CommentI'm going to give it a miss. My tomtom is approaching it's final journey and i'm in the market for a new one, but it needs to be as good as tomothy.
Aye, i saw it. Call me suspicious, but i decided to ignore the RAC backed Halfords reviews.
At the very least if i were considering it i'd do a bit more research. Which i'm not, so i won't.

Be warned, the software is terrible. It's takes an age to locate your whereabouts and update the screen. Got rid of it less than a week later and bought a second hand Garmin Nuvi 770.
Far better, and free map updates are more easily found if you know where to look
My old Garmin does it, you just have to drive a few metres past the road you would have taken and it then says "recalculating" and alters the route
This is probably the one i will go for next, for 40 quid more then this deal, a lot less hassle for me. Or the widescreen one if i'm feeling flush for another 20 quid on top of that.
