I nearly did this and towards the end of the small print read "for new customers only". Joined RAC (fatcheese) two years ago, then AA quidco one year ago.
Anyone know if they would have paid out? Went for green flag this time but it hasn't tracked yet on quidco.

just to add i had the basic cover (£29 i think) and the small print states it didn't cover cars over 10 years old, you have to get the next one up which is about £50. Might of changed but best to check

it links to RAC again but don't use the link go through a cashback site !!!

Apologies, the link has been correctly changed to RAC previously, but cashback links / offers cannot be posted in deals as the price quoted should be the price you pay before any cashback offers. For these reason the deal links to RAC and the deal price quoted it for the price to pay. You can mention cashback is available which has been done in the opening post, thanks.

Too good to be true! I applied via Quidco but cashback only tracked at half the rate stated in the offer.

BEWARE of Topcashback on this one. I had to fight for absoloutely ages and only because i threatened to take it further that i got the money for this in the end. I also noticed a fair few other people having the same problem with them on this one.

Be aware that you'll only be towed home if your less than 10miles away, otherwise they'll tow you to a recognised garage.

Great RAC just sent out my renewal £109, Me thinks im gonna review my cover!

Thanks:p

My mams breakdown cover finishes end of this month with RAC so this would have been ideal if she wasn't already with them.

Price for renewal gone up from £28 last year to £48... typical

I normally alternate between AA and RAC but no cashback offers on basic roadside with AA at the moment!
