if you trust Quidco...

Or TCB, still haven't had mine track from over 2 months ago.... had to put through a manual claim that now says "waiting for retailer to respond", hopefully they'll eventually come through with the cashback but isn't looking as good a deal as I originally thought when I took out the cover :(

Twice I had rac out, very unhelpful... now cancelled policy
I will stick with the AA who are "very nice men" :)

I'm with Auto Aid £37 including spouse for any vehicle. I don't plan to break down but it's there in case. There are differing opinions about the claim back service, but it is recommended by the money saving expert website. haven't had to claim in two years, but know others have had hassle free claims with them. Been with AA and RAC and never got any incentive to stay after claim free years, had to leave and rejoin later.

check gem...paid £70 ish for the same cover

moneysupermarket came up with my breakdown insurance for £30 p.a. (breakdown + recovery (min. 3m from Home), car + caravan + 7 people, either to destination or back home). No money to be paid, just call a freephone number. They work with local garages.

The offer as posted, will not attract £60 Quidco. Quidco quite clearly states £60 for roadside + at home + nationwide recovery + onward travel breakdown cover. The OP has omitted to include the required onward travel, and thus you would never get £60 back from Quidco.

Adding the onward travel takes it to £169.63, with a possibility of £60 back, making it net £109.63

Not so hot.

I passed an RAC van yesterday and the driver was crying his eye's out, I said to myself he's heading for a Breakdown.
