Also includes a spare bulb kit.

This now makes it a good price.

£35 ? you got to be naive to buy it at that price

i wouldn't touch these with a barge pole.
i bought one about 18 months ago for a trip to disneyland paris.
the gb sticker started to peel the first time it rained, the beam deflectors were a nightmare to fit and one of the guys loading cars on the ferry dock came over to help, he took one look at them and said "rac kit?" he then told me that they'd had loads of people complaining about them and advised me to buy a set of deflectors on the ferry. i did this as a precaution and sure enough by the time we docked one of the deflectors was on the deck under the car. by the time we got to disney the other one was missing. they are absolute rubbish.

Argos reviews are generally very favourable though there does seem to be an issue with adhesion in the wet. Have no experience of these, and therefore no instructions, but I always put the headlights on to warm the lens prior to fitting the beam deflectors.

Still seems good value considering what is in the kit.

they need to fitted while dry. if fitted while dry they do not come off in the rain. in fact the reflectors are hard remove once fitted properly

its a good deal

If you have a vw, audi, seat, or skoda, check in the boot before buying, you might already have a red triangle

it was bone-dry when i fitted them, and i'd had the headlights on before fitting them. everything was as in the instructions. it was the loading guy who eventually got them to stick and he stated quite clearly that he'd fitted loads of different versions and the RAC ones were by far the worst he'd seen.
the ones i bought on the ferry were great and in fact i had to use alcohol spray to remove them once back in dover.

Seeing as P&O European motoring kit costs £60 on board (and that was an "offer" in December'10) I've still taken a punt on these. I can pick up a set of overpriced deflectors on board if required. Cheers wolf359.

Just picked up the last set in Lowestoft. For the price, it's a good piece of kit. Also comes with a first aid kit and torch.

just be aware that they may fall off, make sure they are firmly attached. the french police have gotten red hot @ stopping british drivers to make sure they fully comply with french laws.

The deflectors are exactly the same as the ones I bought at Dover last year. As long as you fit them in dry conditions, on a clean surface (make sure you wipe down the headlamp before trying to stick them on), you won't have a problem.
