Looks like a bargain to me. Shame it can only charge Nokia... can you not get adapters to make it work for others too?

Good deal!

You can get adapters easily on ebay to concert from nokia to micro usb. Perfect with this for glasto although I suspect it may take a lot of winding!

Theres also a big advert stating 3 for 2 mix and match ie buy 3 and get the cheapest item free but when you add three torches it doesnt discount the price???

Would be a great deal if you could get 3 of these for £9.98

3 for 2 is just an offer they have on at the moment, which doesn't apply to this, but appears on this product page because it appears on every product page as promotion.

In a serious nationwide incident, such as mass zombie invasion, you'd need it for emergency broadcasts...

Thats because that is just an advert. If you click on it it takes you to the items that qualify for 3 for 2.

I won one of these in a raffle and complete tat, radio only lasts 30 seconds after winding! Can't imagine charging the phone would really work, opened it up and the battery capacity is about 3.6v Ni-Mh 80mAh, typical phone battery is 3.7v Li-ion 1000mAh, will require lots of constant winding!

I hazard a guess that this will be completely impractical for charging phones.

If you want to try though, then you can chop off the plug, cut a micro USB lead in half, and cobble the ends together.

I've ordered one too in case the Zombies attack. I shall calm them with 'Classic FM'.
