Novatech does them for £97.98, Aria £99.00, eBuyer £99.99, Scan £101.48 and Play £116.09. If you can get them as second hand on eBay, so much the better.

As always, check that your PSU is up to snuff.

I know people say that it is in the same class as the GTX 460 768mb, but all of the benchmarks tend to show otherwise.

Which is not to say that the 5770 is a bad card - I'm sure it's great, and especially at this price.

But there is a reason the 460 costs more.

Great price for this card. As above, GTX 460 is a better card but does cost a bit more!

There are loads of better cards that cost more, that is a ridiculous argument. You might as well criticise an offer on a cheap Ford because Aston Martin's are available.

For less than £90 you would be pushes to find better performance. These models are likely at the end of production as the 6 series gets marketed heavily.

Is this better than my HD 4870?

As I said, it's a quality card, but the OP was suggesting that it was in the same class as the GTX 460, and for a much lower price.

To which I replied that it's not, but that's why it costs less.
