Getting better, needs to hit the 160 mark and it will be in it's own price range.

GPU price ranges to value...
460 is too expensive: It would be perfect at 80-90. Currently going for 100.
1050: 100-120. Currently going for 115
1050ti: 130-150. Currently going for 134
470 4gb: 150-160. Currently 170.
1060 3gb: 160-180. Currently 180.
1060 6gb: 200-240. Currently 210.

No room for the 470 8gb, 480 4gb, or 480 8gb.

AMD need to price the 480 8gb at sub 200, like they said. The 470 8gb is just an odd card, doesn't fit anywhere.

AMD never priced the 480 8GB at £199. It was the 4GB version and $199.

On Hitman for instance RX 470 average FPS was 76, 1050 ti average FPS 42 and RX 460 38 and you put 1050ti value of 130-150? and say RX460 is too expensive? (£120) You are trippin!!!!!

The 4GB 480 released and was available to buy in the UK for £174. The 8GB 480's RRP was announced by AMD to be US$30 more than the 4GB 480. It would have been reasonable to expect £200 - although AMD subsequently increased the 8GB 480's price by $10. So... £208? :{

£208 would have been fine before the 1060 launch - now the 8GB 480 fits quite well at £180-200. I'd rather have an 8GB 480 than a 3GB 1060 for my £190.

But spending that much, I'd either spend the extra on a 6GB 1060, or spend a little less and get one of those £165 8GB 470s mentioned in another deal comment.

I think the 470 8gb at 165 may be a unicorn/rumor rather than actually real. It was mentioned in a news story, never for sale at that price. At 165 for a 470 8gb, that's a good price. But again, I doubt it exists, and by the time it does, the other cards will go down in price too.

I had very bad experience with xfx, personally I would avoid them and this card would probably be loud and running hot.

Ew PowerColor. Terrible RMA and they don’t even have a UK site. Also this model needs 8 pin power.

Haha I'm afraid I cannot take you seriously when you are using Hitman (a very heavily AMD sided game) to judge the price points for all the GPUs in the entire market. I think you're the one who's "trippin."

I tried to take you seriously to the point when you said "Hitam (a very heavily AMD sided game) WHAAAAAT so every DX12 game is AMD sided game? seriously, nvidia failed to utilize DX 12 lets blame AMD for this?
Yes Hitman!!!

Hitman is an AMD friendly game, just like ROTR is an NVIDIA friendly game. DX12 results are split based on which game is sponsored by which card.

Also, it's not so much that AMD did DX12 better, it's that they did DX11 so badly.

DX11->12 makes AMD look "good" because their results for DX11 titles is terrible, while NVIDIA don't gain much from DX11->12 because their DX11 was good.

So yeah, let's stop throwing the idea that AMD did something 'good' here and realize just how badly they messed up in DX11.

Also, let's not forget that 99% of existing games do not support DX12 and we can look forward to at least 5 years of DX11 still being the gold standard for developers.

DX12, maybe in 3-4 years, will be 'the thing' just like DX11 took ages to ramp up developer support. Remember, it came out in 2008.

Its a good thing it has 8 pin power. 6 pin is not enough to deliver power to the card. I wont go into detail on this but google it, it was a big issue with the rx480 on release and the 470 is basically a 480
