Great price for one of the best albums ever released. Couldn't find this posted anywhere - there was a £3.99 at HMV I think.

Have some rep for a decent taste in music. :)

This is one album I have to get round to using HD Audio Solo to remaster a DVD-Audio 5.1 disk.

it is definately one of those 'everybody should own a copy' albums, tis brilliant.

Lol trying to be contoversial?

All of the best artists write 'depressing' stuff. You say depressing, I would say realistic. Life isn't all about money, b***hes and sex despite what Rihanna, fiddy and Gaga will tell you and your friends

Radiohead write poetry about real feelings and experiences, that people can relate to. I suggest you listen again, or are you one of those people who just love a catchy tune and forget to listen to what the song is about? If so this may be all going well over your head.

Yeah maybe catchy was the wrong word just couldnt think of a better one. :)

Pop music is catchy by being repetitive and drummed into your head by radio Djs even if its a terrible song. Radiohead and other good artists are catchy but because the song is so great and just can't stop listening to it, if you know what I mean.

Far from it..I was a HUGE radiohead fan in the Pablo Honey and The Bends days, my band used to always play radiohead stuff, but the total change in direction for Ok Computer just killed it for me.

I guess its all opinions at the end of the day...I felt as a band we got great response playing 'creep' 'the bends', 'my iron lung' and 'bones' but just felt there wasn't enough umph in the ok computer stuff to warrant playing it live...for me personally, ok computer was a huge disappointment.

Typical all the obsessive, blinkered Radiohead fans rear their ugly heads :p i do like this album but it is heavily OVER-RATED. Voted hot though for price.

Depends how high it is normally rated. :p

I said it was my 3rd favourite of Radiohead's, if people say it is the greatest stuff they have done then yeah it is over rated, still an amazing album.

Those are what I like to call the bad days!! The days they used to sound like Muse :)

Sounds like you were playing to a lot of special people. Creep is not a great song but for some reason everyone loves it. That is not opnion that is fact. :-D

No need to be offensive - I admit, the kind of people we were playing to woulda been into the indie rock scene you could say - Some may not have been that familair with Radiohead, but they could still enjoy the music....if we'd have played stuff off Ok Computer, im pretty sure we'd have been bottled off stage!!:p

Nope...thats your opinion.

Creep is a simple song but its a classic, great to play and great to hear....in some ways i compare it to Smells like Teen Spirit in its format....simple yet effective.

Totally agree with you regards playing live in pubs and clubs.
My mates band do the old stuff like "Anyone can play guitar, just and creep, and always go down a storm.
They did a one off gig doing Kid A and the songs just didn't come off.

Saying that they smash Paranoid Andriod!
