For anyone who missed the Play.com deal... here's another chance. This is the 2008 compilation comprising the majority of the band's charting hits. This contains most of the good stuff before they became just a litle too experimental for their own good IMHO.

Anyway, next best is £4.89 @ Sendit

Thereafter:
WH Smith £4.93
Asda £4.93
Argos £4.97
Dixons £4.97

BTW, I guess this deal will last as long as it takes Amazon to realise Play.com have finished their promotion. ;)

Great price  - but, as a Radiohead newbie ("In Rainbows" being the only album of theirs that I've heard) I'll follow the advice of the 'fans' on Amazon and get "OK Computer" instead (£3.79 at Amazon and HMV).

I've just read some of the negative reviews from Radiohead fans and they really made me laugh.

For some reason Radiohead fans have really taken a dislike to this, seemingly because it was released after the band had left EMI, and the band did not agree with it. Almost every successfull band will, at some point, release a best of album. EMI doing it with the songs they own, is no crime. This is a great album. I persoanlly am not a big R|adiohead fan, but I own this album, and enjoy it.

I do get the argument that their albums have a mood or theme and might be best as a complete whole - that's no reason to trash this compilation and some of the comments were quite laughable - but I decided to pay a little more and get a complete album.

I've listened to Radiohead albums, and they do have a mood/theme but no more than any other bands really. I just don't get why Radiohead fans seem to think they are so much better than every other band. Radiohead are not 'above' best of albums, and this is a fine compilation of songs.
