Not since the days of the Clash and the MC5 has rock seen such political force as in the uncompromising debut from this American quartet. Expanding the hip-hop/metal style of bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage tap the spirits of vintage Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, coupled with hardcore punk intensity and Public Enemy-style grooves. "Bombtrack" opens the album with a shot of adrenaline and singer Zack de la Rocha's infuriated chorus of "Burn, burn, yes, you're gonna burn!" The intensity doesn't let up an inch on the militant "Killing In The Name", the ultrafunky "Bullet In The Head," and the engrossing "Fistful Of Steel". Tom Morello combines time-honoured metal-guitar riffs with sounds that suggest a hip-hop scratcher over a rhythm section that simply takes no prisoners. Intelligent and aggressive, this is unimpeachably one of the best hard-rock records ever made.

Dog eggs 10p in Asda? you should post that as a deal...

Buying or downloading a song/album because you don't want another song to get number one for christmas seems childish and sad.... don't like this CD or Xfactor ones...

COLD COLD COLD

What is wrong with you people?

Yes, both on Sony but Simon Cowell does not get paid for every song on the label sold! What is the matter with this country? People now just accept that Christmas number one will be X Factor winner. Absolute crap.

A portion of the sales of this single is also going to Shelter. Also, the song is bloody wicked! Especially if you remember it first time round!

Mate, I suggest you take it to a vet, or feed it prunes.....

This for £2.73 would have been hot :

This has nothing to do with the Facebook campaign, this is just a fantastic price for the album. If you don't like RATM or this album, then don't vote at all.

This has nothing to do with the chart battle, it's the album, and a good price for it.
#38
Nice price, was thinking of buying the album (first album purchase in years) after the guys support for the campaign, they've been nothing short of amazing!

They really love this because they're a political band and this whole thing is just a mass campaign to stick it to the many and phoney fake music. From them donating to shelter, to the speeches they've done about the campaign to singing what the **** they want on radio.

I've been a rage fan for a while, but never had the album, time to buy!

Oh and for all the naysayers, open your mind simpletons, you think you can see corporate plots in things and that your above the rest, but you can't even tell a ****ing album from a single LOL! Ohh such a horrible song.... which one? theres 10 tracks :p

Glad to read you've listened to all the tracks even though you don't like the music.

I'd hate to think you were being prejudgemental.
