Saw this on TV and enjoyed it greatly. Amazon describes it as: Following on from the much-loved WAINWRIGHT WALKS, Julia Bradbury returns for this delightful documentary in which she turns her attention to the likes of the Monsal Trail, Cornwall's Coast To Coast Trail and the Strathspey Railway.

17 five star reviews out of 19. Next cheapest is £11.49 at Sendit. Amazon have it in UK stock (with UK tax paid) for next day delivery on Prime or free Supersaver delivery. Play.com offer dispatch in 4-5 days + postage times from Jersey, for those who don't mind waiting that long to get Quidco (and don't want to contribute to HM Treasury!). Next they'll be bringing out DVDs of "The Unmissable Guide to Britain's Sewage Farms with Michael Aspel"!! What a sad sounding program.

It does have a lot of shots of Julias botty, though.

You're one to talk! A bit more interesting than these I'd wager:

Simoniz Pressure Washer Detergent - 5 LTR - £2.50 In-Store @ Tesco Home Plus

Signed Meat Loaf New Single £6.57

How sad is that?

:-D classic

A very watchable series for those who are capable of enjoying beautiful scenery and yes, the beautiful Julia. I have no interest in trains per se but this was a very interesting, enjoyable and informative program.

Did I mention Julia is in it?

Not quite as good as the shots of her botty (and other bits) from some of her bikini-clad 'rough guide' travel shows!

Errr....So I'm told, cough, cough!

Did anyone see the travel guide where Julia Bradbury was in a turkish bath ... in a bikini ... I had to get a new Virgin V+ box after that as the hard disk was never the same again.

As for this deal, fantastic. The walsk are brilliant and a great way to show off the British countryside and its heritage.

I watched all six episodes and thoroughly enjoyed them all - a bit of very useful local history (not all train related) from each episode. Julia is a pleaseure to watch and listen to. Well worth the cash. H&R added.

What exactly is your problem with this series? It is well presented with beautiful scenery and a gorgeous girl. WHAT has this to do with sewers?

If it gets just ONE armchair overweight slob out in the open air (as did the Wainwright series) then good for Julia!

Your post was snide and unhelpful in the extreme. I am giving this a warm-up and buying the DVDs.

As a 'Trainspotting' Julia Bradbury fan a double whammy from my point of view- have some heat :-)
#17
love julia Bradbury , ordered ... but shame I couldn't record the BBC HD transmission
#18
Let's be cynically honest here, this is only hot because it's presented by Julia Bradbury. "Railway Walks with Jonathan Dimbleby' wouldnt get the time of day.

So yes, HOT!

why all the fuss over Julia Bradbury?
You must have damned ugly wives and girlfriends or neither if you find "horsechops" attractive!
