Found this after looking at OSA's deal. maybe useful to some. not quite the same saving though.

Elegant and practical with a 330 Ltr Storage capacity and a small footprint.
Rainwater can be drawn off with the tap provided.

LOL !!!

So If someone was flogging a 330ltr water butt looking like a dog turd for 50 quid, you'd still vote it hot ? :whistling:

novelty item perhaps ? :-D

Ordered one as it will amuse me for a while trying to figure out exactly were I'm going to butt it ;-)
#15
Does anyone know if these are easy to install/use at all?
#16
water column, geddit? it's a column, that holds water! brilliant. can't believe this got into production.
#17
Dog turd for £50 thats a hot deal
#18
Quite literally 'butt ugly'.

Still a good price though for the size of it. If it's not going to be in view (such as behind a shed) then doesn't matter too much how it looks. Hot from me.
#19
thanks to hot uk deals my rainwater collection needs have been fulfilled at long last....

Why would you guys collect rainwater for? Will it turn into petrol/diesel after some time? May i remind you thats its illegal to keep that much in the house.
#21
What I don't get is how long is it going to take to collect that much rainwater? Do you link this up to your guttering or something?

I've left buckets in the back garden that have taken weeks of rain to fill, never mind a 330ltr fake roman column.
#22
Yes you link it up to guttering - otherwise it would be pretty useless to be fair waiting for it to fill......

One of my neighbours has a 2 foot Venus De Milo on her bathroom window sill --- now that's tasteless :-D Her garden has about 100 assorted pots, barrels, gnomes and other ugly ornaments (frogs, windmills etc.) - plus the ubiquitous and chavvy solar lights :whistling:.
#25
Who in God's name would buy that for £168 :D I won't even at two thirsds off!

Water butts are mghty expensive for what they though, which is a shame considering...
