Looks similar to the ones Aldi sell from time to time for £12.99 (but they include a heart rate monitor too).

Good advice as this one certainly does, however no ones gonna listen. But, I do miss the temprature function since moving to a wired cateye. This is ok for a kids bike specially as they can show off with the 96mph top speed it normally records due to interferance.

Visit any cycling forum and ask them what cheap cordless cycling computers are like.

Besides, is it really such a big effort to attach a wire to your bike?

I take your point and this might be true of "budget" stock but usually the problem is that people just don't set 'em up right. They have to be set up to precise instructions & angles. I have had three different mid-range computers fitted to different bikes & never had problems.

bought this about a month ago and i've had no problems with it yet, works a treat for me.

Never had any luck with wired ones at the sale value in the past (had about 5 all broken on me within a few weeks), this is the first one i've ever bought that works!

I've heard they have problems when using lights close to them but with the dark hours been so late i've not really tested this out.
