Was £159.99 on-line last week, so "actual reduction from most-recent price = £10".
Seems reasonable price, but potentially questionable to base a purchase decision on some marketing hype suggesting huge savings.
Wouldn't trust my local Halford's to build a bike safely! from past experience!
Find a bargain bike on Amazon,at least if it gets a fault, they are brilliant
at exchanging or sorting out the problem whilst under warranty.
That's why I roll on one of these:

Hence the quotation marks.

Same goes for Raleigh. Cheap in every way except price

"...street credit..." What's that - like when you find a fiver on the pavement?
Interesting, thanks for this. Think I'm going to go with the Rockrider 5.0 for £99. Looks like a HUKD favourite from past threads. Technically a mountain bike not a hybrid but no suspension and lighter than this one, so I don't really understand where a noticeable disadvantage would lie.

Good luck when you have to change the chain.oO
There are much better bikes out there for the same money and I would avoid halfords bikes altogether as they use really low quality parts.

From an older bloke's perspective, I'd imagine you look a complete tit on that contraption.

At least it will give the "older men" something to laugh at as they pass you.
Much better :)
