    rubicon mango ice cream...i'm intrigued!

There are two tub varieties :
    - Pure mango puree - very sweet and doesn't feel like an ice cream and has 0% fat
    - Mago swirl ice cream - This is the actual ice cream type - white ice cream with mango juice applied in a swirl.

Hot from me!..... Shame all these supermarkets in my town (sleepy town in Norfolk) dont stock any of these super deals.

Again thread tidied - If you want to discuss religion use the misc forum and not the deal itself.

Ok, there is no need for every 1 out of 3 comments to state not to talk about islam but the deal instead. One comment on this is enough, not a whole rant on it, your talking about islam telling people not to. Just read the post and stop repeating the same effing comments!

Decent deals. IMO the chick pea deals are really good at 25p.

What arent decent are some cheap comments trying to make a simple deal about foods and mixing it with religion only wind people up.

Halal is basically kosher and both Islam and Christianity are based on Israelite prophets and Judaism, all basically the same so it's stupid to see this fighting going on here too instead of respecting each other born into whatever religion by chance. The overwhelming majority of people of whatever religion or belief even if atheist are decent and basically good and kind people. As this site is about profit not prophets let's look at the deal. The oil and rice are not unusual deals for the large quantity. As for the ready made meals you rarely see Asian people buying them since these instant meals are not as healthy tasty or cheap as genuine homemade ones which can be made quickly from cheaper fresh ingredients so for me these always look unappetizing and cold. Get some fresh ingredients and spices and if you don't know how download quick Asian recipes and have the real McCoy.

I'm pretty sure they don't stop you buying it if you're not a Muslim either... :-)

Never noticed the large packs of samosas at ASDA, don't tend to like the supermarket samosas, but might try these. The tinned tomatoes have been on offer for a few weeks as we have been stocking up on them. So sad that tinned tomatoes at 25p a tin is now considered such a bargain though isn't it?

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/somasas-20-for-1-49-less-8p-each-1276765, you may want to try these.

areas that do 'ramadan offers' always have 'diwali offers'. in west london anayway given the populations are the same.

I think asda or tesco also had aysha branded kebabs which were microwave based. not great but quick and adequate I guess. but odd consistency.

You never see deals for vegetarian atheists like me. :( But I do love a nice veg samosa. :) Hot.

From three major supermarkets personally I think these deals are far off HOT quite poor in my opinion, most of these offers and cheaper are available at the local south asian supermarkets in most major cities where there is a mixture of customers from south asian, arab, mediteranian and far east backgrounds. I don't understand see what all the fuss is about. Another rip off deal from large supermarkets trying to breaking to the multicultural market. For example
    4 X KTC chick peas - £1 - these are typically 5 or 6 for a £1 at the local
    4 X KTC chopped tomatoes - £1 these are typically 5 or 6 for a £1 at the local
Laila 4KG Basmati rice BOGOF - £8 what £1/kg for basmati rice you call that a HOT deal. typically £6.99

Where is the Thelamite deals? Ignorant shops (_;)

I might grab some Tahira chicken frankfurters though, they sound interesting.

Agree - even though I'll probably get a warning or something the mods on here are ridiculous.

Racism and blatant trolling are fine, but other indiscretions are jumped on (I called someone a tool and got one).

I understand the reasoning, this is what makes people visit the site more = make more cash money but it's still laughable.

I suggest turning off commenting for any deal that hits Hot since most of these comments come from those that only frequent the "Hot" section. They should do the same on YouTube ...
