This is my first post which I found as a result of another post so I guess some people may have already discovered this, but I thought it was worth a mention as both Vol.1 and Vol.2 are in the 2 for £15 sale.

If you were buying these, I guess you would already have a HD-DVD player.

The above deal already covers this. No need really for a separate deal.

Oh, and welcome.

Don't want to put a dampner on those with HD-DVD players but thought this article from AppleInsider may be of interest...

Hate the way some invent a new colour to mean blue (light) ray

its all rumours at this time. Hd-dvd is the better format, blueray is just storage and hd-dvd on dual layer actuly comes to something like 40gb or so. Blueray just contains uncomrpessed fluff, where as hd-dvd has all the better features and slightly less space.
This is facts, not just opinion. If you question this, then i really hope you have been making these xD, as i know the whole process. (dont quote me on the size limit, i just no its more then 15gb(

Voted hot.

edit: wow, that post sounded fanboyish xD, i dunno why i thought some1 said blueray is better then hd-dvd and hd-dvd sucked, my bad but still xD.

It's Blu-Ray. Its won. The War is over.

Toshiba to give up on HD DVD, end format war: source

You're basically buying a set of films that will work on the one HD DVD Player in your house. If you buy more players then something is really wrong and if you think Dual -HD DVD/Blu Ray will ever be cheap enough to cover the cost of saving a fiver at most of these films then you shouldn't be allowed to pay utility bills.

DVDs get shared between friends, they exist longer than players. I can remember buy the first films from costso ten years ago, what happened to the device its been and gone yet I still watch those same discs today. You need a solid format for the future otherwise you're limited to what you will ever be able to view it on.

Whooosh straight over their heads :whistling:

oh look ps3 fanboy sparc in a hd-dvd thread, there's a surprise.

even posting exactly the same post he posted in another hd-dvd thread, people know the score with hd-dvd, they don't need it pointing out in every thread
