John Rambo takes out his enemies with extreme prejudice in FIRST BLOOD, RAMBO - FIRST BLOOD PART 2, RAMBO 3, and RAMBO.

In FIRST BLOOD, a police chief arrests and harasses a vagrant, former Vietnam war hero John Rambo. Rambo escapes his captors and wages a one man war against the corrupt police force in nearby mountains.

In RAMBO - FIRST PLOOD PART 2, John Rambo's mission is to locate American P.O.W's in Vietnam. His orders: do not engage the enemy. But double-crossed and behind enemy lines he must get out any way he can. No man, no law, no war can stop him!.

In RAMBO 3, John Rambo has gone to live a life of seclusion in an old Buddhist monastery, searching for inner peace. When friend and mentor Col. Trautman visits to ask for his help in a secret mission in Afghanistan, Rambo declines, preferring a life of serenity. Trautman goes it alone and is captured by the enemy. Rambo must now set out to bring his old friend back to safety.

RAMBO sees John Rambo living like a hermit and wrangling rattlesnakes in Thailand. He's drawn back into the action by a group of missionaries who want the Vietnam vet to ferry them upriver into Burma. But when the group of idealists gets captured by the Burmese army, it's up to Rambo and a team of multinational mercenaries to save the day.

Blu-Ray are still ridiculously overpriced and Sony deserves for it to go the way of Laserdisc

If you check Amazon and buy NEW from one of the many 3rd party sellers it has selling this box set, you can get it for £30 delivered. Just an FYI if you want the best price but possibly a slower delivery.

Hear hear! Cold as BR is commercially stillborn.

if you shop around you can get some really good deals on blu-ray.
Rather pay slighty more for better quality picture and sound.

"Shop around" to pay "slightly more".....
First of all, there's maybe a dozen blu-ray movies, tops, which might be 'slightly more' than their DVD equivalent, assuming the BR version actually exists
99% are in the £11-£17 bracket and their DVD equivalents are £4-7, without having to 'shop around' at all - just go to Play.com.

As before, BR is commerically stillborn, the players are overpriced, and the public is consequently dis-interested. It's going to take a miracle in these economically difficult times to save it from a slow, expensive death. It's already half-way there imo.

You're comparing something new to something old. If you compare a BD to a newly released dvd the price isn't that different.

I watched Rambo 1 on bluray and to be honest it's not upto much compared to Rambo via DVD upscale I realy struggled to tell the difference - normally you can see it immediately - be warned

Im sure Rambo 4 will be excellent in Blu Ray - but the others aren't much cop
