Beautiful find, 'ontheball'!

Now, do I buy or wait to see if my PS3 comes with it and Stealth (Blu-Ray)?

Digressing... The PS3 I'm waiting for is a free with mobile contract job from onestopphoneshop (CPW). I noticed on a couple of forum posts that some people had these included (and that was just over a week ago). The PS3 is due anytime this week -but I don't wanna miss out on this if they doesn't come with it though. S'pose I could always fleabay it if so.

Have a copy reserved, then if your PS3 hasn't turned up by the end of Thursday, it will become available again after midnight (I think it's midnight?), so reserve again for another couple of days. That way, if you don't need it someone will have a nice surprise when they try to find stock at the weekend.

Cookiefaerie - I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I ordered a contract phone with a PS3 from Onestopphoneshop a few weeks ago and I'm waiting for the PS3. I also read that some other posters got Ratchet & Clank and Stealth included - so I might just buy the game from Argos and sell it on ebay if it comes included with the PS3.

Btw, when did you get your contract? I ordered mine on 21 June, so I've probably got another few weeks before the PS3 comes :(

Me too!
Oh well, does Argos have any kind of policy for when this happens, like Amazon does?

It's not midnight, the stock becomes available again 30min-1hr after the store closes for the day.

There's no return policy for games unless faulty, they tell you that when you buy.
#18
Yeah but Amazon has a policy where if you buy something and the price drops less than 2 weeks later, you can get a refund of the difference. Wasn't sure if that was Amazon's policy or a law or something.

Hi Icfcrule.

I ordered mine on the 7/8th June and connection date on my Orange bill is 10th June. It's stated as being sents 28 days after connection. I've read several times that OSPS, like the rest of the CPW subsidiaries, use an automated dispatch. So if stock is there, once 28 days has passed it is dispatched. My 28 days was yesterday so hopefully it will be here by Friday. Although possible, they do also say to allow up to 90 days - yeeps!

So if you ordered yours on 21st June, your connection may have been several days after, so it's possible that you have another 10-14 days yet

Did you get a good deal?

I ordered my phone on 18th June and my connection date was 21st June (as stated on my Orange bill).

I went for the deal that was posted on here at the time - the Nokia 6300 £35 tariff (12 months, 350 mins, 250 texts) plus £40 cashback plus Samsung B100 (with £10 credit). I was pretty happy with the deal (I also went through Topcashback for an extra £37.50) but I'll be even happier once the PS3 and cashback comes through!! Which offer did you get?

Pretty awesome deal with the extra free phone+credit there.

I'd been waiting around for my contract to end, missed a good O2 one but found £30 a month (100 mins, 300 texts which is just over what I use), for 12 months (no tie-in to 18 month as you usually get), free K800i (sold on fleabay for £70), £20 automatic cashback, £37.50 through Quidco, so after Paypal & eBay fees effective cost is about £237.50 for the term (under £20 a month) - with a PS3. Should have posted it on HUK, ahem, nevermind.

I think they said it won't support the new trophies system, I think the only release time game that will is Uncharted:Drakes Fortune.

This game came bundled with my PS3, and I've only just started playing it, having gone through Uncharted (loved it) and COD3 (quite good)

Anyway, I am finding it a little childish, and not very exciting. Graphics do look nice (although not as good a Uncharted imho). So although I am enjoying it, its a more relaxing, pretty sort of gaming experience rather than a game I can't wait to play.

Hope that makes sense (and helps)

Thanks. I think I'll leave this...or at least until it goes under a tenner!

My free PS3 from OSPS came with both stealth and R&C, was delivered 30 days after connection and just received my £30 cashback on Monday, 45days after connection so far better than the 90days they state on the website for auto cashback,

No complaints with OSPS would defo use them again.........I would wait to see if it comes with the PS3 or maybe buy it and keep it sealed and return to argos, I think as long as the seal is not broken you can return the item as they can still be sold as new.

There's a demo on the PSN, download it and try it for yourself. That's what I did.
