I bought Assassins Creed Revelations on the 23rd of July for the 360, they delivered the PS3 version on the 4th of August. I contacted them on the 6th. No reply so contacted again on the 8th. They replied with return instructions. I sent game back on the 9th. I had heard nothing by 21st so contacted them again. No reply so contacted them again on 23rd. No reply so contacted them again on 29th. They replied on 30th to say they didn't receive it back and to now send them proof of postage, which I have.
They are without doubt the single worst company I have ever dealt with, I am now in the position of having to prove I sent them back a game they know fine well they have. I'll be lucky if this is sorted in the next two weeks. Still though game was tenner, total bargain...

Did you pay via paypal mate? If so you can just open a case against them the good old fashioned way. They don't even reply to anything when it comes to paypal - I know it is sneaky, but they're a business, they should a) really hire some people to keep an eye on paypal, seriously what's the deal with that? b) raise their standards.

Less grumbling, more warning others ;) You are right about everyone having different experiences, but whenever there is a zavvi post here there are just swarms of people talking about their bad experiences. When an Amazon post is up, I see nothing like it.
Never had a problem with Zavvi, every pre-order has come early and anything else has always arrived within few days, two thumbs up
