Deal has now expired.

Play the ultimate game with the Razer BlackWidow Chroma Mechanical Gaming Keyboard and experience enhanced key actuation and greater durability for epic gaming sessions.

Razer mechanical switches

First designed in 2010, Razer revolutionised the gaming world with the evolution of the mechanical switch. The BlackWidow Chroma features Razer's trademark mechanical switches with 50 g actuation force, giving you speed and responsiveness like never before. With keys engineered to reset in half the time of a standard non-mechanical keyboard, you can double-tap accurately and with incredible speed.

The Blackwidow Chroma is designed to withstand up to 60 million keystrokes. Sharp bounce back keys let you experience tactile game play and optimal 10 key rollover for anti-ghosting means you can give precise strategic commands in seconds.

Customise your game

With 16.8 million colour options, you can customise your game style with Chroma customizable backlighting.

Individually programmable backlit keys can easily be set through Razer Synapse; Razer's unified configuration software that saves all your settings automatically to the cloud.

Using Razer Synapse, you can also rebind controls or assign macros to any of your Razer peripherals, saving your settings to the cloud for personalized game play, giving you quick access at LAN parties or tournaments.

The Blackwidow Chroma's fully programmable keys let you simplify long and complex series of commands to a single keystroke with on-the-fly macro recording. With five dedicated macro keys you can execute commands with quick actuation of the macro button.

Expertly engineered by Razer designers and extensively tested by gaming professionals, it's time to up your game with the advanced Razer BlackWidow Chroma Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.

Also on Amazon for £99.99

For anyone who doesn't already know... these keyboards are cheaply made and are only good for their looks. friend has one and he is constantly complaining about it. keys sticking, lights faulty... etc. I advise anybody thinking of buying one of these to get a corsair instead

I'm a corsair k95 owner and I was wondering if this would be better lol. I guess not.

The k95 is a great keyboard let down by total shizer led backlighting. Prone to failure.

Ouch, thanks for the heads up. I've a sidewinder but find the RGB more appealing than my stock red.

I've always heard good things about the k95, surprised to hear the back lighting isn't great. I have the strafe rgb and I love it. no issues with it at all so far and I've had it a while. looks really nice aswell :)

SIag off Razer, endorse Corsair; where is that eyeroll smiley when you need it.

Everything that doesn't say Realforce is cheap l33tG4m3r junk; Filco gets the nod if one insists on rolling with the Cherry switch toting fashion-crowd.

So tempted to get the new Blade. Chroma keys probably the main reason...

Hope the Razer keyboards are better than their mouse

Do you know if curry's are going to do a discount on the regular black widow tournament edition?

Have 1 from last Christmas, cool gadget, when you play Overwatch the colours of the keys matches the character you choose... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5oA7yHVHm0

I recommended corsair because I have one myself and it's brilliant. I have a razer mouse and it's a load of balls. I'm speaking from experience... not because I'm following the crowd.

My Razer mouse is the best I have ever had the pleasure of using, the build quality is superb.

Or even better, try a Filco or a Ducky.

Yup lol.
The misses has had this keyboard since release with no issues. I've returned my poker twice due to a failed MX key.

Things fail, especially keys.

It's a pity that CoolerMaster stopped making the Novatouch keyboard with Topre switches. I use one as my daily driver and it's great - MX compatible stems aswell.

My son has had one of these keyboards for over a year now, and has had no issues. It has survived several beatings, (he is autistic) and various spillages, and as he doesn't go out of the house is in constant use.

Yup, they're totally overrated. We have them in the office at work and have had 4 fail over the last 18 months.

What kinda cool office is that?! :D

I have been wanting one for a while now but apart from looks (the light show) I'm not sure I want to spend even £100 because the quality might not be all that. I would say £60-70 is a right price for it.

Had lots of Amazon credit (from topcashback) so got one for £72. Cheers! :)

I've had an old blackwidow for years and its never let me down, it would be rude not to replace it for that price.
Thanks for the heads up, ordered and heat given.

Mechanical keys shouldn't fail under general usage.
If you just want a decent mechanical keyboard there is a reasonably priced one on amazon:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cherry-Quality-Action-Keyboard-G80-3000LSCGB-2/dp/B0041KJKAG

Has MX blue switches. Comes with a PS/2 adapter so zero delay and n-key rollover not that that really makes a difference :). It's built like a tank but this also means that it is huge and heavy. I bought one years ago and it's still going strong.
