Brilliant Price for top notch headset .... WAS £89.97

True-to-life positional audio. The Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma gaming headset comes equipped with an advanced 7.1 virtual surround sound engine that immerses you deeper into the game. The engine is capable of ultra-low latency audio processing and modulates the audio source to simulate a 360⁰ surround sound giving you the best sound experience that is usually achievable only by incorporating more than one positional driver in each ear cup.

Razer’s powerful Synapse unified configuration software is capable of a high degree of customization, allowing you to tweak the engine to specifically position each surround sound channel, boost bass levels and even balance incoming voice audio for astounding aural precision.

The sophisticated engine also allows you to control surround and positional audio settings for each individual program, ensuring that you get the best possible experience whether you are playing a game, watching a movie or listening to music.

The left ear cup houses an enhanced digital microphone boom that pulls out only when you need it, maintaining the headset’s sleek form factor while protecting the microphone during transportation and storage. The flexible design and integrated mute button allow the microphone to be adjusted to individual needs, ensuring that it is always positioned the way you need it.

The unidirectional digital microphone comes equipped with an optimized algorithm, promising a pristine voice quality unachievable through traditional analog microphones. Boasting an impressive signal-to-noise ratio, extended wideband frequency response and higher sensitivity rating, the Kraken 7.1 Chroma’s digital microphone is capable of:

Crystal-clear voice reproduction
Balanced, natural sounding vocal tone
Minimal background noise

Good discount but would rather pick up a Hyper X Cloud 2 in this price category. You are paying a lot of money for the 'Chroma'.

Having used both headsets the quality is miles apart.

Cloud 2 all the way. The Kraken isn't a top end headset, nor is it comfortable or made particularly well (like all Razer products).

I have the Cloud 2 Revolver and it's fantastic. Having said that people can hear themselves through my headset in teamspeak whereas they can't with the Kraken, not sure why. A good price anyway, have some heat.

This or Logitech G933?

You're a pedant, you knew what the poster was trying to say and I'm sure they don't need pedants like you correcting them at every opportunity. Comment on the deal and stop focusing on critiquing peoples comments like you're adding value.

Are you a frustrated English teacher?

Are you a frustrated English teacher?

Again, I respectfully disagree, but yes, I am an English teacher; however, not frustrated - thanks for the concern!

It does annoy me that people make basic mistakes when writing which are commonly becoming part of written language on forums such as these, e.g. bought/ brought, could of/ have .

Brilliant, just brilliant. I'm sure the poster is embarrassed about this reprehensible spelling mistake but is very grateful of your obvious concern for the defence of our language. Clown.

Now, how do you feel about the headphones that you obviously came here to appraise?

Go to sound in control panel, recording tab for the hyper x device), levels and mute all other than the mic in.

You're (your) full of Xmas spirit, aren't you? Yes I came for the deal but it grates seeing lazy writing even if it's on a website. Hardly think that makes me a clown.

Not buying for myself but a friend so came to see others' opinions on them
