Alas, the Gigabyte one is not for left-handed people, like me ;)

Nice price! Heat added!

Really comfortable, reminds me a lot of my old MS Intellimouse Explorer (RIP)!

:sniff: Aye, I loved mine too - best 5 button mouse I've had the pleasure of using. I'm currently using a Logitech MX518 which isn't a patch on the Intellimoose.

Nice mouse! I just ordered one, but it seems currently no in-stock.
#5
mmm....Salmosa
#6
It is in stock, I have just ordered mine ;)

1800dpi isn't really enough on an adjustable sensitivity mouse, but it's still a great price for a Razer if anyone wants to try one.
#8
It looks left or right handed .
Does anyone know for sure ?

Guys you do know they started making the Intellimouse Explorer again due to demand from gamers? Also the Deathadder is Razers take on the 3.0 and is a very nice mouse :)

Seems a decent mouse, ok for lefties too, which is why I still use my Intellimouse Optical as I've yet to find a mouse which has side buttons as comfortable and is lefty friendly.

Razer are soooo overhyped
#13
If it is RAzer, it must be good.
#14
Is it suitable for vegetarians?
#15
If its anything like the razor copperhead, then this is a good mouse, might be worth paying a few extra quid for the Copperhead with its 7 buttons and its extra 200 DPI though. still, hot

I'm after a deathadder but there too expensive this one doesn't have on the fly dpi. well not technically.. the switch is under the mouse.
#17
says out of stock now but i still managed to place an order

Really? Have you ever tried to move your hand exactly 1/1800th of an inch (aka 0.014mm)? Or am I missing something?

I'd personally go for this Gigabyte one: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/7976590/Gigabyte-GM-M6880-Gaming-Laser-USB-Mouse-Black/Product.html

I just got the Gigabyte one a few days ago - it's really good, especially for the price. Really comfortable, and you don't accidentally keep hitting the two side buttons (happens alot on some mice!). Would definitely reccomend it. Don't know about this Razer though... Never used a Razer mouse.

They started making the 3.0 again a while ago (I bought one and it was ok for a cheap mouse but my Sidewinder is better), but I don't think they've restarted producing the excellent 1.0/1.1 unfortunately.

You're missing something. The DPI value is speed and I feel that 1800dpi (well, actually the 2000dpi of my current mouse) is too low a speed for the maximum setting you'd use when you want a fast pointer.

True, you can adjust the speed but unless Razer's software is different that applies to all the settings.
#21
Thanks, but I'm still missing something - what are the different settings where you can apply different speeds with some mouses but not others?

This mouse has on the fly sensitivity adjustment, which means that you can make the cursor/view move at one of several speeds with the press of a button. My point is that I'd have prefered a higher speed for the fastest selection.

Ah - explains it all - thanks. So there is a significant difference between a "gaming" and any other mouse.
