Only irresponsible adults would buy these for their kids, ive seen the police take these off kids and their parents arguing with the police not to, but they still took it, remember this, you need private property to use this

Hotukdeals is about finding a good deal, this IS. How can you call a parent irresponsible for buying one? As long as they are used in a controlled area there is no issue? Please remember what this site is about.
i'll tell you why, there to nippy for children to be driving on concrete or tarmac, they will crash and hurt themselves or others badly, what is your idea of a controlled area, it must be a private road or land that it is used on, and a controlled area wont stop them crashing, so in a nutshell parents that want there kids to hurt themselves ARE irresponsible, and that makes you one,i didn't forget what the site is about, but maybe you did because after over 4 years as a member this is your first posted deal

Private land only !! Section 59 writen all over it, If it had pedals then that would be legal for 14 year olds and over as classed as a Pedelecs ie electric bike...

wow, thats a good comment, now you have just made yourself look like an idiot, yes it is about my opinion thats why they have hot and cold buttons to click, you fool, so if its about deals, tell me how this is a good deal when you cant ride it unless its on private land, does everyone on here know someone that has private land, or are you from the traveling community that just dont care what you do, i bet you would be the first person crying back to mum when the police take it off you

Who says you have to ride them on concrete or Tarmac? If you have a large garden then it's much safer to ride these on grass. What exactly makes these any more significantly dangerous than a pedal bike that most children have probably fallen off at some time in their lives.
#26
Possibly why these are cheap the legal issues involving their use. In our area I have not seen any of these but a good number of kids use the less conspicuous electric scooters on pavements.

I wouldn't buy one of these moped type things for a kid to use on the pavement as somebody would probably spoil it and 15mph is quiet nippy.

Look at the end if the day it's a kids moped.
If you don't like it don't buy it.
Most kids and adults have fallen of bikes so let blame are parents for all the cuts and grazes we got..

thank you for making a comment, i know it must be hard for you to do so, as its only the second comment you have made in 3 and a half years of being a member of hukd, you must be another one that has never driven, or you would know how fast 15mph is for children, now please feel free to post more comments on other deals and become part of the hukd community, but please dont make your third comment anymore stupid than your second one, as people will think your an idiot

hmm suprised the travelling community comment slipped through the net.

place gets crazyer each day

Haha... this thread made me laugh... calm down people!!!

PLus my 2p... as a kid I managed to get over 15mph on my pushbike even, hell by 14 I had topped 30 down a long slight downward...

These things can aparently take 77kg... clearly thats more aimed at 10-14 year olds? Lol

Wear a helmet :p

Deal anyway for the price which is what HUKD is SUPPOSED to be about..
#34
I got a similar one for my son when they first appeared on the market a few years back. At that time there was no problem using then, and my son had a great time with it. He did not fall off or drive into anyone, it is just down to good instruction and responsible use. Good deal and voted hot.

The most insulting member of the week award goes to bb_savage, he knows better than everyone else and so tells them how to live their lives and look after children, and he takes people out of context and twists words. The site is about deals that doesn't mean you have to post them, you might just be looking to find deals, someone thats only posted one deal in four years may feel they have never found any worth posting, and compare that to the thousands that never join the site and just browse it. You made a racist comment about the travelling community and consistantly in your posts use the word there or where wrongly, such as where when should be were. Furthermore just because some people might not have the land to use the scooter doesn't mean the price isn't good. It would seem that you are intoxicated with the exuberance of your own verbosity.

And still you go on, i explained that the site is about deals, not just posting them, but going on to the site to see available deals. The site is not about insulting people or racism as you seem to think. If being an idiot has got me along in life to where i currently am, then i'd recommend being an idiot to anyone.
