Just a quick heads up for you guys.
You wont be able to use gas or liquid fuel at the fests this year. So it disposable bbq's or solid fuel cookers like hexi's.

You will get a note with your tickets but many people may have bought gas or liquid before then. I expect there to be a shortage of cooking stoves and guess the traders may well try to rip people off, so you may want to buy an extra hexi cooker or two to swap for booze as they may well end up being this years gold!

I'll see you guys at Leeds or maybe before at latitude or Glast.

Ps Try not burn everything on site at Leeds please.

Good idea to put out another batch for sale.....******s up the touts oneBay...which is always a big plus point:):)

I bought 4 for my son and his mates straight after last year's festival...they were going at the 2008 rate at that time, but even at £175 each they're great value for a great weekend!
#26
SATURDAY TICKETS AVAILABLE right this minute !!
#27
damn, looks like I have missed out again. Need 3 Leeds Fest weekend tickets, anyone know anymore sites/ links which might still have em?

EDIT: Just got myself 3 - rang up seetickets - 0871 230 0010. I am so happy. Looks like they are still taking orders on the phones

No sorry not this year. Rather than lugging 4 crates of Tesco value beer on site just spend 5 mins each morning collecting cans and swap them for beer tokens at the recycling points. Then you will have a pocket full of vouchers to swap for a nice cold beer when you like.
There is going to be a big push on this this year after last years event.

I'm not paying £175 for something that's going to literally disappear.
#31
do the weekend ones include camping?

They always do - personally I'm not going to Leeds this year - first time in about 6 years..

I'm off to Download...

Well, so far so good, now everyone I was going with has pulled out of this gig, leaving me with a weekend on my own in Leeds and 3 extra tickets, woot, looks like this is going to be one almighty balls up!

How's this a good deal? Insanely high prices for a relatively poor product. You have better quality products (festivals) for less money in the UK and abroad.

Better pack some empties then :D

Poor line-up? Not only do I disagree with that in itself, but if you want to find out a poor line-up, try the Isle of Wight this year.

And I should know, because possibly like a mug, I bought tickets expecting the same quality as the past four years again and then got what we've got in 2009. Pisspoor.

Yes, take a look at previous lineups and the overwhelming opinion of people on all RF related forums.

Still, with FNM and FLC heavily rumoured, things do look better

It helps if you quote and not use too many abbreviations.

I totally disagree about the line up as well. And i think the price is pretty much the same as the other big 3 day festivals and i personally think the line up is much better than all the other uk festivals. Maybe the festivals abroad are cheaper but there is the small problem of getting there......... which isnt cheap!!!

Apart from Radiohead and a couple of others - the line up this year is laaaaaame!

Readings gets more expensive every year, and yet nothing changes, it doesn't get any bigger or better, and no improvements on site are made. Glastonbury on the other hand is more awesome all the time, and you have things to do all the way through the night! it rocks. im excited. sorry.

good luck to all those wanting to go though
