I had one of these from argos and it was very dodgy.

after about 2 months use it started to smell when in use once and then started to burn inside,at this point it was put out in the garden to burn itself out.returned it to argos the next day where the woman's face was a picture when she opened up the box and got a nose full of burnt out electrics.

I would not have one of these in my home again !

I stumped up the extra cash and went for a kenwood smoothie 2go which hasn't caught on fire yet and is a far better product.

Sorry but got to vote cold as I wouldn't want to encourage someone to risk a fire in there home.

Link below for the kenwood at argos which is on offer and gets great reviews and as I said is so much better for not much more money.

On page 2 of the reviews someone else said it had a burning smell and smoke coming from it by the second use.:|

From the picture it looks like it can cope with strawberries, raspberries and bananas. You need to pay a LOT more to cope with harder foods.
