Ponzi Scheme Alert

Buy one then two then 4 etc using the vouchers, then clean up in the New Year with a new sofa for a total outlay of £10.

Not sure what to do with the Christmas tree forest though!

Then go down the market and sell the Christmas trees for £10 each... or if they have roots plant for next year!!!!!

Ask Ikea if they'd like to buy them for a fiver and tell them they'd double their money. :D
They should be aware of how fast they're selling. lol

Some Ikea stores do a minimum spend, say £40, and others don't. Just depends on the luck of the draw.

Well, the minimum spend was a bit of a deal breaker. And some people I have talked to comment on the durability of the trees i.e. the needle drop rate.

Ikea did this last year, but you had to sign up for some sort of family card to get the £20 Voucher. Which you can do there & then instore. A few of my family got trees from Ikea last year. It's not a problem as there are no string with signing up for the card + you will get discounts with the card.

All three trees we've had from Ikea have been very durable. Barely any needle drop.

No minimum spend at Nottingham last year and no needles dropped

can confirm the £10 tree with £20 voucher at the IKEA in Glasgow.
I asked the girl giving the vouchers why and she explained that they had received a double delivery due to an inability to deliver a load to Belfast during the storms last week. will be £10 until they run out.

Can you buy the tree, get the £20 voucher and tell them to keep the tree as you don't actually need it and then spend the £20 voucher?

You pay for and get the voucher for the tree at the checkout, then proceed to pick up the tree. So just skip the last part.

Nothing beat a FREE real nice christmas tree in the living room and made 200% profits too!
#35
Think I'd rather jump off Kingston Bridge than go to Ikea on 'Panic Saturday'. Nae chance!!
#36
That's a very good deal. We bought our ikea tree a few weeks ago at the normal price and very happy with it. A small amount of needle drop but that's due to cats climbing the tree!
#37
Had our ikea Christmas tree for two weeks however yesterday found it was infested with aphids crawling up and down the trunk and on my carpet! Tree disposed of and artificial one bought :(
#38
Is there any trees left in ikea?
#39
wembley has sold out so have most other stores
#40
Couldn't you just buy the tree, get a gift voucher, place the tree back on the shelf, buy the tree again using the gift voucher, get another gift voucher for the purchase, place the tree back on shelf (repeat over until all vouchers acquired and you've left the store with one tree :D) #profit
