I've a while looking for a cheap, yet strong, rear pannier rack for my bike and this ticks both boxes. It takes loads up to 25kg and looks to be made from tubular alloy, as opposed to the rectangular kind with seams that is found on Amazon for around the same price. It's adjustable horizontally as well as vertically so should fit the majority of bikes. And it's got a rear light/reflector plate which was another one of my criterion. Only available in silver.

Down from £19.99. JE James give free delivery on spends over £10 so I just added a cheap, but good, puncture repair kit (http://www.jejamescycles.com/nutrak-p3-puncture-repair-kit-knl1743.html). There are cheaper items to get you over the £10 threshold if you're on a tighter budget.

The Ibera one on Amazon looks good. I think it's around £21 but comes in a version for disc brakes.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep them in mind when making my mind up/researching more into it.

Think I saw Topeak Super Tourist DX Disc Pannier Rack get mentioned in a thread for my bike, so many choices, which one to go for

I had the Topeak on my last bike, never had a problem with it and I have a tendency to take to much stuff when I'm cycle camping.

I've just received my rack and since the deal is still live I thought I should give my first impressions...

It seems very solid with thick welds which hopefully will stand the test of time. Although the alloy looks thick it feels lightweight (though I don't have any other rack to compare it to). The colour is a lot lighter than it shows in the picture and is more what I'd call a matt silver. It came with a black plastic covering which fits over the adjustable brackets near the front. HOWEVER, and even though the website says it comes with bolts to attach to most frames, there were none with mine.

Other than the missing bolts, I'm very happy with it.
