Ken Stott stars as the eponymous hero John Rebus in a series of six adaptations of Ian Rankin's worldwide best-selling detective thrillers. Set in Edinburgh Rebus's investigations lead him through the city's ancient beauty and into its more sinister quarters. Stott's Rebus is recognisably Rankin's tough and street savvy character but is softened by a sense of humour and a taste for romance.

Superb 6 Disc Set starring Ken Stott and Claire Price. This boxset contains Fleshmarket Close, The Falls, The Black Book, A Question of Blood, Strip Jack & Let it Bleed.

Yes, they are good. They are fairly faithful to the originals, but with some cuts to fit into the time slot for TV. Ken Stott is great as Rebus, much better than John Hannah.

agree with this. I loved all the Rebus books and agree Stott makes a good Rebus. The TV versions are pretty good too (although not as good as the books)
