"The Interceptor - Same Director as Nightwatch"
Really? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0067457/

Saw the Interception DVD in Poundland last week.

It looked quite fancy with a nify slipcase over the standard amaray box. Anyway, it did have a sticker on it saying something about Nightwatch, but I cannot remember exact details.

Noticed Spread in a previous visit. Will keep an eye out for the Interceptor though!

I got myself a copy of Missionary Man starring Dolph Lundgren, and Hard Luck starring Wesley Snipes and Mario Van Peebles, last time I went in.

Yeah your right, like etceteraz said it was something to do with nightwatch I missed out with the director though, Hopefully the visual effects team will give me at least half as good of a film as Nightwatch was

recently released films ive never heard of!
and any films starring dolph or wesley these days are really low budget actions films that are worth £1 maximum. i woudlnt bother because with quid films you get what you pay for.

Agree with some of the posts that these £1 movies are usually ones you've never heard about. There's a good film called What's Eating Gilbert Grape (starring Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio), which I found in Poundland a couple of years back. And I thought I'd buy the low-budget 1996 TV version of Titanic (starring Catherine Zeta Jones) from Poundland a couple of months ago, for a laugh!

I bought Hard Luck with Wesley Snipes,was http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/67/Hard_luck_dvd_cover.jpg/220px-Hard_luck_dvd_cover.jpgnot bad at all/ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489070/

I was in the other day and they also had Desperate Measures with Micheal Keaton and Andy Garcia in, This I would of easily paid more for as I think its a great thriller/action.
But this films i listed above are once which I saw in asda a few months back at like £10 so for now to be a quid could mean there terrible films but you never know till you find out

For those with a taste for international politics, they also have The Special Relationship in stock at selected stores. Amazon price is currently £6.73

also i had a check on find-dvd - and to say these are recently released is like saying the world cup just finished. indeed the inteceptor has been out since february and spread since may afterwards was a july release so only 6 months old lol. i would regard anyting since october to be a recent release.

In some cases like the cinema sure.
But when a film has just come out less than a year ago it should still be at a top price

Their website describes these as "modern" DVDs. So anything after "Zulu" then.
