I've used these and they are quite good quality. Charged mine loads of times already LOADS LOADS LOADS. and still going strong. Better than the cheap so called AA 2500 nimh ones I bought off fleabay. Heat added!

The Aldi rechargeable batteries are top quality . I use them in everything and they hold their charge for ages. I'm already into 50+ charges on some of them and they're still going strong. They've even outlasted my much more expensive Duracell 2500mAh batteries which I've since had to bin. Just stock up on these, buy a decent charger and you'll not need to bother about buying batteries again for years.

I have been buying these for the last couple of years, never any problems. But i'm sure the price keeps switching from £2.49 and £2.99. (Tthe rating has gone up on them too, I know some were 2100mAh or less)

It wasn't these was it? - http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7138

Buying those would be throwing your money away on scrap metal.

Will check this out on Tuesday, thanks for this!

I got some of these a few weeks back for £1.99, so they have had quite a large price hike. But they are still good value compare to whats currently around.

Yeah, I have been buying these for a while now as well. Previously at £1.99 til recently. Good price even at £2.49 though. Also worth mentioning that the size 'C' and 'D' rechargeable 2 packs are at this price which is also a good deal!!

I'd guess dealextremes 2300 nimh are probably the equivelent to about 1200 nimh battries of a reasonable quality. Lots of Dealextreme haters out there but I am not one of them. They are ok if you don't expect too much from their products.

The DX batteries I linked to barely hold any charge, maybe 150 mAh.

Can I replace my cordless phone 700 mAh Ni-Cd batteries with these?

Got some down my local ALDI today, will try them out. Been using Energiser ones for a few years, great battery's, but almost x4 dearer.
