i have 2 of these for work. 2yrs no problems.
i thought they were a bargain when i paid £9.99.

i bought one of these about 7 years ago to keep in the boot, and which i use regularly (2-3 times/week)...apart the fact they can take a lot of abuse (oil, rain, drops) without any problem, the last time i charge it, if i remember correctly was more than a year ago maybe two!...in fact i have no idea where the charger is...if the quality is still as good as the first batches this is great led lamp

This sounds ideal for my guinea pig shed.

brill for my garage as the door is at the back and the only light switch is at the front! very bad planning!

Voted hot. Same generic model cost me £10 from B&Q a few weeks ago Battery lasts ages and bright enough to light up a medium sized room in a power cut. Only minor issue is you cant use the light whilst charging but I will be modifying this torch so it can use an external DC source. Buy it - you will wont regret it at this price and with 3 year warranty.

Purchased one 2 years ago for camping, runs for several hours from full charge, can also operate at the same time as charging so your never without light.

What makes you think you can not operate why charging, I use mine for camping and plug it into a mains hook up to keep it operating through the night if needed, mine is from aldi around 2 years ago, mine has an led that is red why charging and turns green once charged, only difference is if you are operating and charging at the same time it takes longer to charge.

Managed to get a 60 led one a while back from clas ohlson for £7.99 delivered and it really is super bright. The last one I picked up from Lidl was only a 30 led model and is very poor in comparison, although it does have a magnetic clamp the lamp can clip into. It also has a rather rubbish 2 prong connector for charging unlike the standard power jack type on the clas ohlson that can obviously be plugged in quickly.

If this one's like the Class ohlson, its worth the £6.99 easily.

Because the booklet says :-

"WARNING: Do not operate the lamp whilst charging.
1. Make sure On/Off switch is set to the Off position with the O pushed down"

My lamp also has a red charging led which turns green when fully charged

This sounds ideal for my guinea pig shed.

Please take care as the LED's give out a very intense white light and can hurt your eyes if you look at directly at the top of them
May be an idea to wrap the lamp in a white carrier bag or white paper to diffuse the light to protect your pets eyes.
Another idea might be to cover the ceiling or wall of the shed with an off white colored paint ( to soften the white light ) then point the lamp at the wall or ceiling so the light reflects back into the shed

Thanks for the advice :) i will probably place it behind where they sleep so they wont be able to look at it. But i will definatly keep what you have said in mind.

Wow, thanks for that Class Ohlson advertisement, could you possibly mention Class Ohlson one more freaking time in your shill post??? If you bothered to read the description, this IS a 60 LED lamp, maybe if you spent more time reading the post and not shilling for C O, people would care about your replies!
