RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES AND CHARGERS RETURN TO LIDL FROM THE FIRST OF OCTOBER.

The recent rechargeables from Liidl have been green in colour, and the mAh was upped with the change.

Unfortunately there is nothing to show the capacity of these - but they do tend to up the spec with each change.

Would these be any good for an rc helicopter? It require 6xAA's, was looking at the eneloop ones on 7dayshop but bit too expensive!
#3
Any further info on these? Has anyone managed to grab some and can tell us the mAh?

I just got myself a few packs of AA's
Power Ratings:
4x AA 2500mah
4x AAA 900mah
2x C 4000mah
didnt look at others as was just after AA's
Bargain prices too for these German made batteries!

I have been waiting for the batteries to come around again, having bought some last time around as well as two chargers, all still great in what must be a year on.

Picked up many of the AAA today but noticed that they are 2.1 volts when all other AAA batteries I can find (not rechargeable) are 2.5 volts, is that normal?

1.2 volts is normal for a rechargeable AA, AAA, C, D battery. A normal Alkaline battery is 1.5v but the voltage difference is so small it doesn't matter.

2.1v i sure you misread! :)

The D cells were 4600mAh & the PP3 200mAh.

They are 1.2v which is normal for rechargeables that would be 1.5v not 2.5v for standard batteries. They will work in almost everything that standard batteries would work with.

The reason for 1.2V is due to the electrode potential is of the chemicals involved. Different chemicals have different electrode potentials and the chemicals in the rechargeable batteries produce 1.2V.

I remember at school whe we made a battery by sticking metal rods on Copper Sulphate. Copper Sulphate batteries always produced the same voltage.
