Personally it doesn't matter to me if its hot or cold. Its about informing and giving people choices. And although not as cheap as Lidl, its a good price for the high street.

what are the cheapest eneloop/hybrio batteries? i need AA and AAA
#7
I bought 4 pack AA and AAA Uniross Hybrios for £3 a pack at Asda about 3 weeks ago.

Maplin have their own brand Hybrios for £6.99

Well said Bob.

This site is starting to lose its community spirit, just cause it might not be the cheapest ever deal it still might be useful for others.

These are not the cheapest - but its still a good deal as you cannot be sure you will get them in the Lidl/Aldi offers.

So again 2000mAh is not the best - but the lower mAh ones tend to hold their charge longer - so these could make good batteries to power something like bike lights over summer - and cost far less than eneloop types.

So perhaps not the best deal about pricewise - but there are there - and plentiful - and you can use quidco and maplin email vouchers to drop the price by about ten percent.

So a dozen batteries for 9 quid if you pick them up or 48 batteries delivered for about 36 quid.

HOT

(Just think of the space 48 000 batteries would take in a landfill? - 48 sounds a lot - but count how many batteries you are currently using in your house?)

Thanks Ibiza.

For the average person who buys normal expensive batteries from supermarkets and the like, they would save a fortune by using these rechargeables and help reduce toxic chemicals ending up in our water supplies etc.

Hi,you prob have to lucky to get Uniross Hybrios from Adsa.Could have been sell off of old stock.None near me,asked Asda worker who seemed to know his stuff(at least battery wise),said they had them in at one time, but not anymore,so ?

Cheers BOB

these are rated at 1.2v right?... so in theory you could link ten of them together to get a 12v battery back and charge it using the £10 solar car trickle charger on the same site?
