The desperate leadership of a doomed Soviet Union travels back in time to change history and restore the glory of Mother Russia. The time travel mission goes awry, creating an alternate timeline where technology has followed an entirely different evolution, a new superpower has been thrust on to the world stage, and World War III is raging. The Empire of the Rising Sun has risen in the East, making World War III a three-way struggle between the Soviets, the Allies, and the Empire with armies fielding wacky and wonderful weapons and technologies like Tesla coils, heavily armed War Blimps, teleportation, armoured bears, intelligent dolphins, floating island fortresses, and transforming tanks.

It's Always Better With Someone Else: Fight your way through three campaigns solo, or join forces with your friends or one of nine, in-game commanders, each with unique personalities and play styles, in missions designed from the ground for co-op play.
Star-Studded Storytelling: Command & Conquer's trademark live-action videos return in HD, with over 60 minutes of footage featuring the largest cast in the history of the Command & Conquer franchise.
Command the Seas, Conquer the World: Experience Gameplay³ as for the first time in the series, waging war on the water will be every bit as important as dominating by land and air. Gain strategic advantages by controlling resources in the seas and mounting three-pronged attacks from all directions.
Ready your Man Cannons: Armoured War Bears, and Anime-inspired psychic school girls join your favourite Red Alert units like Sonic Dolphins, Tesla Troopers, Attack Dogs, and the ever popular Tanya.
A New Threat From the East: The deadly Empire of the Rising Sun is a technological terror, with designs influenced by a mixture of anime, science-fiction, martial arts and robot culture. The Empire's futuristic units can transform into alternate forms, and they specialise in naval warfare.

Also available at Play.com for £1 more but some people have a £5 play voucher which they can use on this to get it £4 cheaper.

Loads of info/media about the game there.

http://forums.ea.com/mboards/forum.jspa?forumID=4223

The Red Alert 3 forum where people have been playing the beta and discuss all things Red Alert 3.

http://www.gamereplays.org/redalert3/

Watch videos of people playing the beta to get an idea of what the game is like.

Personally I think it looks much better than c&c3. The resources come in much slower so you have to use tactics and micro management much more now rather than just spamming tanks.

The Red Alert 3 remix video, shows off some of the actors in the game.

I don't think I can run it
The misery has begun...

I love the c & c games too, been playing them since the original many yonks ago.

Trouble is that they are so addictive & you can lose so much sleep!

That is a ghastly cover, don't you think?

Well I hope there's a demo around launch as I'm determined this will run on my machine. Even C&C 3 ran at near max settings on 1280x800 on my laptop's lowly 256mb X1600.

It's using the same engine so I don't see why not

I guess I'll be going for this deal, Play is on my boycott list :p

Too true!

There have been a couple of disappointing ones recently, generals and c&c3 but this looks really good. Have a look at the multiplayer videos to see how the game is playing. Looks much more strategic than c&c3: spam fest!

This seems to be the best deal at the moment, I may order from Play with the voucher and I doubt that I'll find it cheaper but if someone finds a better deal please post.

Released in just a few days now, there are rumours that it'll be release early but either way should be playing it by the end of the week!

Available at Lovefilm for £24.93 but with 10% off code (QUIDCO10) comes to £22.44.

Add in 6% quidco brings it to £21.09

Great price for what should be a great game!

Just gone to cancel my Play order to get it from Lovefilm instead, and according to Play they've sent it today!!!

It's not meant to be released here until Friday. So looks like Play will get it to you quick but it'll cost a few quid more.

People, where can you find this on the Lovefilm site??

Can't find the PC version there??

You'll need the retail version of the site rather than rental if going through quidco etc.

Who voted cold then???

I assume it was a long time member as it's gone down 9 degrees.

Can you find it cheaper anywhere???

EDIT - Gone up again, thanks!
