Not bad... but prefer Tesco's Diet Kick.

I guess it's okay for Red Bull but why you'd pay that when the cheap supermarket alternatives taste just as bad I don't know.

15x440ml cans of stella for £7.49 in sainsburys. that beats this muck.
#6
Overpriced , supermarket stuff is just as good.

Redbull tastes like **** and is only expensive because of the name. Supermarkets own brands tastes the same so just buy that, its even cheaper. Sainsburys own stuff is about 37p a can, thats £2.96 for 8 - even hotter deal.

Red Bull is so **** I wish it was German.

isn't the reason why most people buy this is to blend it with other drinks?

Morrisons and sainsburys alternative is 37p so you can get 13 for £5!
#11
I bought these in Asda a few days back.

If one frequents farmfoods they sell the red rooster , either normal or diet , for 29p a can I believe it is . Not too positive that's right ( might be 27p , it's one or the other ) as I always buy the 4 for £1 that they offer , not much difference in taste and similar amounts of caffeine etc . Wouldn't give them the money for red bull tbh !

I love Red Bull.

I think my fav energy drink is one called "shark" that they sell at Gourmet Burger Kitchen!

why are people even referring to 'supermarket stuff that tastes the same'

thread is about RED BULL not the cheaper alternatives! it's a great price for RED BULL if you want RED BULL cans!

personal opinion is irrelevant, what matters is the value of the deal in comparison to the usual price of the product, have some sense...

HOT from me.

The REAL rebull is in Thailand, and is dirt cheap and comes in tiny bottles and is about 8 times the strength of this pansy stuff...

That when mixed with Thai Sangsom whiskey and served in a bucket really does give you wings and then a cardiac arrest heart palputation hangover the next day...not that Im that irresponsible and know about these things....:whistling:

I think thats a little harsh , this site is about saving people money. If the same product or 'extremely similar' product (to be more factually correct) is available allbeit displaying a different brand on the label, at much cheaper prices then one has to evaluate whether or not this is such a good deal after all.

Fair enough if you have tried all the cheaper products and found none that are as good as 'red bull' and are then willing to pay such a premium to get this brand and believe me ther is a hefty premium on this brand !.
However, many people (myself included) actually prefer alternative brands ( in my case, tesco diet kick ) of what is essentially the same drink and therefore would be much more willing to hand over an equivalent of approx 15p per can (ie 85p instead of £5.00) for the SAME amount of drink.

For anybody that hasnt tried this drink it is advisable to try some of the other brands on the market to evaluate for yourself which you prefer but with the price of red bull as it is , even when a deal like this is on , it works out far more expensive than the others on the market.

Sainsuburys one isnt very good.

Have not tried the ASDA one.

Diet kick is brill!! If you have never tried it give it a go.

'emerge' (24p @ HB) is excellent, the real alternative. the 'taurine' has put me off 'em tho

No wonder they can afford to run an F1 team when their drink is such a rip-off!!

The same reason why people compare different camera's , dvd players etc etc etc when a deal is shown . It's all about value for money and this to me isn't good value ! It's fine if you're snobby enough to want to drink only red bull and wish to pay extortionate amounts to do so (despite those same people looking for deals to get said snobby drink cheaper on here lol) All we're saying is that whilst for some this might represent a good deal , it's not the best possible when compared with similar drinks .

Tadaaaaaa ! explanation given , I'm so helpful .
