As per title. An acquired taste certainly, but a bargain all the same IMHO! Loads of them in my local Sainsburys petrol station, but oddly none in the nearby store (?)

#4
Good price but it tastes as if its been left open for 3 days then a small child has drank it then threw it back up into the can ready for your pleasure. Horrible stuff.

Heat added.
#5

wanna bet :p

I quite like it, but it wasn't worth paying the original price for it. Will keep my eye out for 10p cans though!
#11
It's amazing how many people who don't like it feel compelled to comment. Like their personal taste is some kind of benchmark. WTF.

IT'S 10p PEOPLE. THAT MAKES IT A HOT DEAL FOR THOSE THAT LIKE THIS DRINK (AND THUS QUALIFIED FOR THESE PAGES).

Even if those that like this drink are a minority. Any one else really ought to shut TF up.
#12
****. Utter ****.
#13
Utter Nonsense. @ Ayrton.. It's simply not drinkable.

Tell us what you think of marmite whilst you are about it because that is just as relevant.

I don't think your 'asumed name' of a dead racing driver has any relevance to an F1 team bearing the name of 'Red Bull' and nor should anybody else.

The cola based product (in cans!! not cars) is indeed being low-stocked!! Therefore low priced

its a nasty drink, bought it for the first and the last time when it was down to same sort of price a while ago, never again! but still a good price for a can of red bull.
#17
Good price. Bad drink. I bought this for the first time last year, and after a couple of sips I couldn't drink anymore. I then tried offering it to my other half and she didn't like it either. Then the kids even refused it after a sip. "Ugh. Tastes horrible!" said one. Funny... it's exactly what I said 5 mins before in a different part of the house.
#18
Yup scored some of this free at work, and couldn't finish it.
Vettel probably accidentally took a sip of this just before the safety car restart in Hungary, and was too busy choking to notice he'd fallen behind.
#19
I love the Stuff.

Cheers OP, I'll have a look when I'm passing by there later.

No one is saying it's not a hot deal, they are saying the drink is crap. Which is helpful to people who haven't tried it.

Put it this way, which is worse: People commenting on a deal (which is all they are doing), or someone posting to tell them to stfu?
#21
I actually like this! Although seems it is station specific :(
#22
Absolutely rank. However, at this price, it's cheaper than Cillit Bang - so worth it for cleaning old coin collections etc ;)

Completely agree with you. What's the point of having a forum if people get criticised for putting their opinions on it? If I was thinking of going to go and get some of this, but saw 20 out of 21 comments saying it tasted like pondwater, I'd not bother and be glad for those people saving me a trip down to Sainsburys.

Telling someone to 'STFU' is not very respectful.

Yes it is a hot deal, did you notice anyone who commented on how bad it tastes saying they voted cold? Next time, please have a read before you post your overly aggressive stupid comments.

Personally, I was just looking at the deal to see if anyone actually liked the stuff :P Like I said though, still hot!
#25
Can't vote this hot, it taste awful therefore no money can make it good value

I apologise unreservedly for the unnecessarily aggressive tone I have used in some other posts in this thread. Out of order. I take those words back.

What I do not take back is the point I was trying to make. There was a Stone Roses CD offered here the other day. Should people who don't like the Stone Roses queue up to throw in their tuppence?

Back a few months there was a thread about Full Metal Jacket, which was going cheap, and an all mighty row broke out. Every man and his dog seemed to be lining up to tell the world how they hated that film. WHY? Some people like apples and some like pears. Vive la difference. We're all grown up enough here to be able to make our own minds up. If it's not to your taste - move along!

In my book it is disrespectful to the OP who has found a product available at a price which is a fraction of what you would normally pay. Tell us how another product might represent better value in some way; by all means tell us where this product might be had for better value elsewhere; but please, spare us the personal critique on what this does for your sensibilities?

At which point I will take my leave.

I believe you're missing the here. The forums on here are to allow us (the members) to discuss the deal, AND critique it if neccessary.

For example, using the same ratio as this deal above - a Sony Vaio is being offered for £200, normal price £2000. So we've kept the 10:1 ratio.

As a result people are thinking "Wow. I must buy one at this price, it's a steal". So you get idiots like you voting hot PURELY because of the price. Money isn't everything, when it comes to purchasing something - regardless if it is 10p or £200.

If this Sony Vaio had an inherent fault, for example a faulty CPU, Mobo or whatever - I would EXPECT people to post and let others know of this fact. As a community we all do it. If I know there's something wrong with an item, I'll lay my concerns out as I would like everyone else too.

We're not sheep. Who mindlessly just click hot or cold on deals, we're human beings. We appreciate feedback where it's due.

It **** me off when people like you whinge about those who take the time to write a response to a listing on here, because if you had it your way this place would go downhill fast!

In my book it's disrespectful to US to push your own opinions on how you think this website should be run, and everyone else stay silent forever more. What's the point in the forums? Let's just have the hot and cold buttons and leave it at that eh? Moron.

Anyone would think you work for the ****' company or something.

The drink is ****. End of conversation. Everyone knows it, and everyone has said it. We've also said it is a good deal so what's the problem? My faeces is free, would that make it a good offer if I placed it in your hands? Case in point.

Trying to censor comments won't wash with us, especially since you haven't been here that long anyway - and there's some users on here who have been on this site since day 1. Go and take your communist-like attitude elsewhere, it's not wanted here.

oddly, I've said this before: If he wanted some poo, that would be a great deal.

SamuraiHQ, Ayrton has posted here to apologise for the way he spoke, and calmly explained his views. I don't think there was any need to attack him in the way you did.

I dislike people who apologise in one hand and continue the baiting using the other.

Telling others not to critique a deal when this is what the community is all about just stinks. I'll call people out on it every time. What I posted above wasn't an attack... it was common sense. You would know when I'm going down that path because all hell would break loose.

I'm sick to death of people trying to force their opinions on to others. We're not kids on here, so why do these people try to control us as such. I'm 27 years old and if I wanted to be told what's acceptable when commenting on a deal - I'd have asked for his permission.

My original point, which I appreciate was lost in the manner I delivered it, is simply one of the etiquette which I feel ought to apply when commenting on a deal for a product which you simply do not like - and this is different to knowing it to be defective or sub-standard. In my view, if it is not to your taste, then you are very poorly placed to comment on whether or not a deal is hot. I am never sure what dislikers feel they are adding to the sum of all knowledge by telling us about it. My view, which clearly is not shared by several here, is that if I don't like it - I just leave the discussion to those that do. I am sorry you feel that what was intended as a clarification was continuing to 'bait'.

Your point, which you are also rapidly losing in the manner you are delivering it, is that you do not like folk telling you how to post. However I could pick up any number of phrases from your last two posts that apply to your point just as validly as mine. No, we are not sheep.Yes, we are all grown up enough to make our own choices and say what we like. But that means your freedom to not like the manner of what I write, is no more sacrosanct than my right to not like the manner of what anyone else - including you - writes. This only applies as long as it is kept civil, because as soon as you 'lose it', you've lost, as I have discovered.

BTW If I was working for Red Bull last week, you can be sure as hell I wouldn't be working for them this week. I don't think I am cut out for viral marketing.

He apologised for the way in which he voiced his opinions, not for his opinions. You called him a moron, which I would define as an attack. For the record I agree with what you are saying, just not the way you are voicing it.
