Watched this the other night after a friend lent it to me, you can buy the standard version for £5.99 but that has a run time of 148 Mins vs the 293 mins on this copy!

This is in my humble opinion an amazing movie which I wish I had seen earlier, looks very nice on Blu Ray.

*Others have pointed out that this is the same price as HMV (which has quidco), which you go for probably depends on whether you're an Amazon prime user or not.

293 min run time!?! Wow!!!
You sure? That's just under 5 hours!

Great film though, heat added!

Yeah it was brought out as two films in the East but when it came to our shores it was cut down and condensed into one. This is basically the two films put together as it should be.

Incredible film!

Great film.
Amazon seemed to have price matched HMV @ £6.91( or vice versa).
Cashback for HMV available through Quidco ( increased to 6% - expires 9 hrs or so from time of this post)

its cheaper from hmv with quidco.
also i just ordered this with a few other blurays and used the £2 off £20 spend code and it came off this bluray (since it was the most expensive) so made it the cheapest of the order at £4.91 - now thats a good price.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago, the picture quality is amazing.
I tried (and failed) to watch it in a single sitting :p

After a while you almost forget that you're reading subtitles, at least that's how I am.

Kind of. Quite easy to get sucked in to a good movie. But I would need a break from anything at some point during a 5 hour span.

People have commented on the picture quality; They're absolutely right. Reference material stuff. Plenty of substance in this too, enjoyable movie - one could complain about a few plot devices though.

shame the subs are burnt in (in this day and age!), quite annoying for people who can speak the language ;)

Heat added but I ordered from Play (£6.99) as their delivery time is so much quicker than amazon, thanks for the info on the film

The type size is also quite small.

So long as it's not in Wingdings, I'll be fine

A fantastic movie, far better than most things Hollywood have produced in recent years.

I also couldn't watch it in one go but that is more a reflection of my inability to sit still than anything else

i ordered from hmv for £4.91 with code and they posted it around 1 hour after ordering and it usually takes 3 days which im happy with. play and hmv are both good on delivery but i agree crapazon take the pee with standard post. unless you are new and can take advantage of the premium trial, they arent worth bothering with.

I thought the 1st part was pretty poor, never did see the second half.. you can't argue with the bang for your buck though. Heat added.

Went with the HMV for the quidco.
