Are all of those bits of DLC on the Undead Nightmare disc?
#2
No...the disc contains JUST the Undead Nightmare DLC.
#3
This a really good deal.
The Undead Nightmare collection includes all of the DLC as far as I know.
I haven't even played this game yet but I plan on buying it after xmas. I may buy this now on the marketplace before I get the game.

I don't know why there is a disc version of this though if somebody could explain? Even before the discount it's only 1600 points for the lot. The disc costs around £18 so why would anybody buy the disc?
#4
I imagine so people without Live! can play the game - but I completely agree, why anyone would buy the disc is beyond me, it's a complete ripoff!
#5
Is this just on Live, or is it on PSN as well does anyone know?

because you don't need Red dead redemption to play it, it's a standalone disc. If you download it you need the original game disc.

Yes, all the RDR DLC content is on the disc.
#10
Whoops - my bad then - I thought the disc contained just Undead Nightmare - not all the rest of the DLC.

Apologies.
#11
is this worth getting now or will the disc with the dlc become a zavvi special
#12
If you're on Live! and have the space, I'd get the digital version now - but that's just me :)
#13
Is there really that much difference between this and the disc ?? plus afterwards you can sell the disc ,you cant sell DLC
#14
The disc is standalone as well so you don't need the full RDR to play it, if you're that way inclined.
#15
Well I've spent 20 odd hours playing undead nightmare, and it's the game of the year for me. Only just started on some of the multiplayer stuff, and there's loads of different things to do. The poker is good for a laugh. I'd have paid full price for it, as it beats Black Ops hands down for me.
#16
Is the 600msp Undead Nightmare the full addon? I would only really want to play through the SP campaign anyway because I hate RDR online.

It seems extremely cheap for a Rockstar addon, even at full price, since their addons usually tend to almost be full retail titles within themselves.
#17
I just ordered original game for xmas
#18
i bought the undead nightmare collection a while back, Basically your buying 2 of the add ons and you get one free and now your also get 400 ms points off.

Get this if you own a copy of red dead its a MUST.

Can someone confirm if the Undead Collection for 1200MS points contains the other 3 bits of DLC (Undead Nightmare, Liars & Cheats, Legends and Killers) - so would be cheaper than buying each of the 3 bits seperately in the sale?

I would click the link and find out myself, but work has anything gaming related blocked.

EDIT - I suspect the comment above has just answered this :)

RDR is one of the best games ever... I have been waiting for the disc base version to drop to less then a tenner. Much like the GTA stories I bought from Curries for 4.97. But for 1200 points the whole set is a good price, however saying that...
Multiplayer does not appeal. So 600 points for the Undead Nightmare is what I may aswell purchase ^_^ good deal for today. Better stock up on MS points, Last year I went through about 4000 lol.

It does, it contains the lot but I will probably just go for the Undead Nightmare single addon I think since I don't do RDR multiplayer and the rest is really just multiplayer content.
#22
The best thing is people who only have RDR can still play those with UN in free roam online. Not like GTA 4 where you had all the DLC and standalone discs which all had different free roams and none crossed-over. With RDR and the DLC those who don't have the DLC can be brought into a DLC game by those with the DLC.
#23
I'm not one for multiplayer either, I got fragged the only time I loaded the game before I even knew what was going on, multiplayer poker could be good though, I'm addicted to that in the game but the ai players tend to pu$$y out and fold unless they've got a good hand
#24
Great deal. Shame it comes in the same week as Battlefield Vietnam addon. Voted hot though, still plan to pick part of the RDR DLC up, just not sure if im interested in anything other than Undead Nightmares.
#25
Thanks - Good price for the expansion.
#26
Im livid now, I bought all 3 (stupidly) for 2400 points only yesterday, as I didnt see the bundle for 1600, and now its come down in price again, robbed!

Is any of this DLC single player missions, or are they ally multiplaye ronly?

The 600msp Undead Nightmare pack is just a single player campaign.

Just to add that it's **** well awesome as well. I borrowed the disc version from a mate a few weeks ago and played through the first couple of missions.

YES dont listen to anyone saying different iv got the disc and im 100% it contains ALL dlc
#30
No price reduction on PSN.
#31
would be nice if you wrote XBOX on this so i don't waste my time
#32
I think the RDR:UN disc probably only contains undead nightmare parts of the DLC.. but the real thing about it is its standalone..

You DONT need RDR to play it from the disc, so if you are only bothered about the Zombies.. then you can just have those.

If you have RDR then the downloadable Undead Collection is the one to go for as its got all the RDR specific bits too.. and is cheaper.. and avoids having to wait for another disc.

It says nothing about needing the original RDR disc on the T&C's to play these, but my understanding is that you do...?

why anyone would pay for DLC when you can get it on disc is beyond me? DLC is dead money whereas discs have re-sale value and you can lend it to mates
