Been playing it today. Its very good. Think GTA 4 set in the Wild West.

The story is great, and the missions varied. Didn't enjoy the multiplayer much though.

Same here! I've got a feeling we're in for a long wait though :(

heh a coincidence, I was too looking for this. Reserved it and picking it up tomorrow.

Im really not enjoying this game as much as i thought I would, half of it is meant to be too realeatic and it just makes the game less fun, there are lots of glitches and the control is amazing for the amount of money that must have gone into making it

Just cause 2 was under £20 for ages on games365 or w/e that 365 game website is called.

Definitely worth getting, epic storyline, with a unexpected ending, and although the main story is short (excluding the hours and hours of side quests and games etc), the multiplayer is brilliant too.

Considering its been no.1 in the sales charts since release untill this week (when that woeful game Crackdown 2 somehow sold more than any other game) knocked it off top spot, you're probably gonna be waiting a fair bit for this to drop in price.

[quote=nebno6]But I agree though. The game started off amazing, and I was thinking "holy crap, this is the best game in ages!"... but it got old pretty fast. the graphics are good, but you get sick of it after a while. the side games are weak; the poker is way too time consuming, and the others aren't very fun at all. Occasionally you'll come across people being robbed whilst you're riding around, but more often than not it's a little confusing who actually is the bad guy... so you could end up shooting the law down and becoming wanted

No offense, but if you end up shooting the law enforcement over and over again then this really wasnt the type of game you should be buying anyway is it? :{:p

Such a brilliant game. Best i've ever played. Even after completing it i sill have things to do to get 100% completion. Multi player is awesome too. Plus they are bringing downloadable content out on a regular basis.

Its a very good game but it is incredibly easy.

It uses the exact same controls as GTAIV, but the horse riding is not as good.

I would say wait until £25, and get the Ballard of Gay Tony until it is that price.
#17
have to agree with anthonyuk on the easy, it gets easier as the game progresses, still the best game by a country mile out there imo (COD included), multiplayer is brilliant. ive completed just cause 2, now that is a repetitive game

thought it was ok, just way overrated....looks good though

multiplayer is terrible though...played one game and kept being being spawned in middle of desert on foot, 3 other players on horses had seemingly every weapon and invincible....shot one guy 8 times as he walked and shot me...so i quit...obvioulsy cheats now on there

Fantastic game, loved it and will get it when it drops below £20 just for the DLC

You can't really mark this down for its faults. The only reason there are minor faults is because the game is so ambitious. I'd rather have it like it is with a few unecessary horse suicides, than have it completely streamlined and linear without any of the little errors (like dying the moment you touch water if you have a molotov cocktail equipped).

Shooting the wrong person only ocasionally happens on the side missions, I think thats the point though, Rockstar didn't want to make your mind up for you by putting a red or green reticule over enemies/ friends. This way you can either help a lawman catch some escaped convicts, or you can help the convicts escape by shoving the buffalo rifle into the lawman's face. I have explored both and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent game worth it for full RRP. Any kind of reduction is a hot deal.

agreed its pretty easy can be boring too.....i usually spice it up....shot 6 innocent people in a town and waited in a room with only one access through a door......managed to survive about 70 sherriffs, then got bored and went on a suicide run.....didnt last long lol

but agreed theres lots to it but i aint got the time....too slow for my liking but like gta im sure those with time will love it

You and me both. I have waited several weeks now, i'm sure i can hold out a little longer =).
#23
Under £25 here would be nice..

Hopefully within a month.....

Amazing game proper AAA title. At least 30 - 40 hours in there with all the side quests. You could go on for alot longer with the challenges, mini games, online co op and mulitplayer plus gernal exploring.

Much much better game than GTA IMO, its a complete free roaming world. I got a mint copy on ebay for £26 this week, free £20 voucher I had off them so I was well pleased.
#25
Wow this is really a hot price? :-/

Not interested until it's under £25

Every friend I have spoken to raved about the game when they first got it and then within a few days said how short and easy it was to complete with no replay value at all. Not the sort of review that deserves a premium purchase price imo.. MP is apparently very repetitive and boring...

Rent Dead Redemption.
#27
The multiplayer is set out a lot like Bad Company 2, if you have mates to play with it can provide months of fun, but if they all stop playing then it beco es unbearable.
#28
Be a long time before this is sub £20, bought it on release and haven't really played it much but then again paid £25 for the double GTA episodes disk and haven't even looked at it yet cos of other games, always happens!

Got GTA:SA on the cheap XBOX originals offer and wanted to finish that before playing this, so 41 hours later hopefuly I'll get my teeth back into RDR.
