Red Steel 2 with MotionPlus Accessory (Wii) £17.97 @ Amazon

Next best £2 more

* Includes Wii MotionPlus Accessory

Forget everything you know of the original Red Steel and prepare for the most innovative first person shooter ever on the Wii. Although this long-awaited sequel features the same mix of gunplay and sword-fighting the art style and story are completely different.

Known only as The Swordsman, you enter the fictional city of Caldera looking for revenge in a unique mix of Wild West atmosphere, samurai action and modern day technology. The first shoot 'em-up to use the Wii MotionPlus accessory, the game gives you unprecedented control of your weapons and movement at all times.

The ultra accurate controls allow you to deflect bullets with you sword and perform all sorts of moves from simple slashes and thrusts to a 360 degree spinning counter attack. Unlike the first game you can switch between guns and sword whenever you want, giving you total control at all times and creating one of the Wii's most cutting edge new action games.

Key Features

* All change: Clint Eastwood meets Kill Bill in an audacious reimagining of the original first person shooter as a post-apocalyptic Wild West revenge story.
* Weapon of choice: Take down bad guys however you want, as you switch between using a samurai sword and a range of pistols, shotguns and other weapons.
* Precision blade: As the first action game to use the Wii MotionPlus accessory enjoy a level of control and accuracy impossible on any other system.
* Novel graphics: Impressive new cel-shaded graphics may look like a comic book but the violence and danger is as real as ever.
* User settings: Fully customisable controls allow you to change every element, from the button assignments to the exact sensitivity of the Wii remote.

£17.85 at Shopto. :)

£10 cashback at CEX for the game. I got it from Shopto.net for £17.85 (89p tracking in Topcashback) took two days to get delivered. Wii motion has cost £7.85 with a further 89p in topcashback - bargain.

I've now have to re-order from Amazon.

Ordered from Shopto last week, received in a crushed and battered state due to the poor packaging, outer game box is hollow and week and sending in bubble envelope it's bound to happen, paid £2.98 to send it back by 1st Class recorded, CS told me before I sent it back they can pass special intructions to warehouse to pack it better, I even wrote a note saying that in the returned package, but just got off the phone, spoke to a different CS guy, different story, all warehouse packing is automated so can't give special packing instuctions, so after all the messing around ended up just cancelling, hate all the hassle of returns again, and they can only refund the p&p to your shopto account.

so hopefully amazon can package better, for these "unusual sized" items they usually do, and amazon do free returns if anything happens, and I'm suprised that no one else who ordered from Shopto reported receiving Redsteel 2 & M+ with crushed outer box? people are either extremely lucky or they simply not care about the crushing?

Did CEX take the game in exchange without the Wii motion? Reason I ask is theres no bar code on the game case.

Hi No1_Dave, I ordered this from Amazon first after reading your post last week, and it arrived completely undamaged in the fold up cardboard packaging that they usually use, so unless a postie sits on it yours should arrive ok.
