  Are you certain these are 1 litre??? the standard bottle is 250ml & the larger bottles are 500ml.

  They are definitely 100% 1 litre bottles - I've just bought one today. 500ml were more expensive for £8.49 as far as I can remember. There was quite a few on the shelf.

  Don't class myself as stupid, but probably do come into the "... and this is rubbish" category. Been driving for 27 years, 12 of them doing around 50,000 miles per year, so must have covered well over 750,000 miles (or put another way, the equivalent of 60 years of 'average' mileage driving experience). I've tried this several times in both petrol and diesel cars and haven't noticed any significant difference in "cleaner injectors", "reduced emissions" or "increased duel economy", and believe me, some of the cars I've had, I would have noticed any improvement.
  
  Haven't voted 'got' or cold btw, but a decent price for those that want to use/try it for themselves. :)

  I've found the engine working a bit smoother and also some subjective refinements in its sound with redex added. So it works for me.
  Funny how people vote cold simply because they don't like the product, rather than consider the lowest price around at the moment, hence possibly some savings for those who are looking to buy.

  Your redefining stupid. As much evidence for this as £100 HDMI leads. Last time I thought about it you didn't have to be stupid to decide not to buy something for which there is little, if any evidence.You want to buy it, your choice.

  Actually quite a few car manufactures advise against using these products.
  
  I do a high mileage so always fill up the tank each time. Whether I use this stuff or not, it's always about 680 miles until the red light comes on. Can't say I notice any difference in the sound of the engine either.
  
  Voted hot for the price, but I think you're throwing your money away with these products.

  Yes it will knacker the DPF due to the extra soot then the light will continue to come on even after a clean and your car will fail it's MOT
  If it aint broke don't try to fix it no maztter how cheap

  Had an old bottle of this in the garage cupboard and put some in my new octavia (with dpf). Will I have damaged it? Didn't see any warning on the bottle to the contrary?

  Great product and it works! Dont be afraid to just add to the diesel tank (or petrol) and its better when nearly empty. For those that have read above and have any doubts i would say when you go the petrol pumps next see how many types of fuel there are, some of the difference being the added agents within the fuels. Redex beeing used for years by my dad and now me, GREAT DEAL at halfords<3

  my car is a pretty old gas guzzler and I can feel some improvements using redex - maybe any potential benefits are more noticeable with older, higher mileage engines, which are more worn and vulnerable to contaminations and not that much with modern, sophisticated and low mileage units.
